Sometimes we still need to dig a hole on an island when we have a long day of fishing, but I'm going in comfort whenever possible. Have a great day Wes.
I did that about a year ago and it was just almost that simple I had to do some plumbing work. At the end of the video the mine is cool I was there and scuba dive and did 4 dives there Thanks From Wisconsin
You were showing the Dometic 300 the 310 is a little closer to the 320 the 310 has a round bowl and the 320 has a long bowl but the 310 has the port around the circumference of the bowl although it does not have a full rim.
hey thanks for sharing. have 2 for ya: 1- is this one deeper (holds more water) than your stock one? One of the problems I have with the stock toilet is that is so shallow that we always leaves marks when pooping. in real residencial it normally there is so much room that it almost touches the toilet bowl (or barely) did you see any improvements with this? 2- what combination and measurements are you using with the geo method? did I hear you are including bleach or chlorine ? thanks
Hi Raymond. Yes, this is a deeper bowl. Its very similar to my residential one. One issue I found though, is that is uses much more water, so use it sparingly if you are off grid. I did see one video where a guy showed lining the bowl with toilet paper before using. That way it all slides down the drain on the paper and doesn't leave marks. For the Geo method, I use 1 cup bleach, 1 cup dawn dish soap, and two capfuls off calgon water softner. I put it in a bucket, and mix it with a couple quarts of water and dump it in the toilet. I haven't had any smelly problems since doing this. It works great!
@@GoMidwestFishing ha! funny trick about the TP thanks for sharing your Geo combo. the original video I saw of Geo didnt included the bleach. I'm deftly trying that one.
I love the toilet itself, but it does use a lot of water. Being such a big bowl, you really have to fill it up to get a good flush out of it. I appreciate you stopping by.
Do you wear gloves when you wipe? Why everyone got to wear gloves when replacing toilets or at the dump station.😂 You glove people probably get sick 8 times a year. Take the gloves off and get in there!
That thumbnail, dude! 😂 Hidey Ho! That brought back memories!!
What can I say... the opportunity was there, so I went for it. Nothing like a Christmas poo to get your attention.
That went easy enough. Good upgrade for the John 👍
Thanks for watching Dave.
ALL the 320 Dometic I find say CERAMIC. What did they do, get rid of the Porcelain bowl toilets.
I'm not sure. They are probably cutting costs like everything else.
@@GoMidwestFishingYeah they're cutting cost while jacking up the price. As of today they're $328 on Amazon
And Dometic doesn’t sell some of the necessary parts for repairs so you have to throw away the entire toilet and buy a new one.
When you gotta go you might as well do it in style and comfort.....The days of digging a hole in the woods are long gone😎😅👀!!

Well its much nicer than digging a hole in the woods! I appreciate it Big D.

No Way! You actually have been to that cave? I bet scuba diving there was awesome. They said the movie "The Abyss" was filmed there.
@@GoMidwestFishing yes it’s very cool 😎
Lots of information to digest
Haha.. after you digest it all, you know where to put it 😁

Ahhh, yes, I believe you are correct. I was just guessing at what the old toilet was.
I should have picked one up a year ago. They are $328 on amazon now.
I saw that. I got a really good deal on mine. I can't believe how much they increased in price.
I thought it was gonna be a really crappy job but it wasn't that bad lol 🚽
Haha, I love the sense of humor. Good one John.

Who knows who used it 😂. This is everything you need to know about it though.
over 300$ now, and looks like the elongated bowl extends rearward so must measure carefully before purchase. let the buyer beware.
Hi Kaspar. Thanks for the update. I will let people know.

Haha, I'm not a germ freak, but I also don't like sewage on my hands, so I'm going to wear gloves.
