Man, that's a tough one for sure. My gut says Abbey Road assisting Alan Parsons. But, I'd also do anything to assist Trevor Horn in just about any studio or heck, in his garage with a Tascam PortaStudio 😁
Great to see the young team at the forefront of engineering. Interesting stories of how everyone came up into the business. Great stuff, thanks very much, this is a fantastic series @abbey road
1-Warren Huart at Blackbird Nashville, 2- Terry Brown at LeStudio was always a dream 3- Alan Parsons at his New Studio in Cali. on the New Neve!!!! 🥂🔥🎛🎵🎸🎧
Recordist sounds like Tape Op. in the old money. Thanks for doing these videos, Warren, it gives a lot of insights into the processes in what must be a wonderful place to work and create 😍👍👍👍
Agreed! Not only talented, but hardworking (they assisted us during this session and sessions after), intelligent and VERY easy to work with! Zero ego, all about helping the music creation process to be the best it can be!
What an incredible video. What a wonderful opportunity these assistants have! So many of the greatest Engineers and Producers of all time came through Abbey Road! Those that work hard, increase their skills and build lasting relationships will flourish after leaving, like so many of them before them.
Great video. Thank you, Chris, Marta, Sarah, Annie, and Warren. Abbey Road Studios is so legendary that I often see it only as the recording institution, the world-famous building with those amazing studio live rooms. It's fascinating to see some of the people who work behind these legendary walls to keep everything running.
very inspiring to hear about the shear existence of all these opportunities ! i didnt even realize that proper music engineering courses and palcements existed !!
Just as every Muslim must go to Mecca at least once in their life, every audio engineer must go to Abbey Road at least once in their life (I already fulfilled this sacred obligation in 2019).... Mr. Warren, thank you for helping us toast to this sensational interview!!!! PS don't cut your hair, make the most of it, enjoy at the maximum…trust me.
Very interesting to hear from these guys and get a different perspective of working at Abbey Road. And a mention of the Hogsback, a fan of the brewery there?!
Hi Lasse, Haha As I said below. We noticed it while filming, unfortunately weren't able to get it fixed with limited time in the room. Took bets on how many people would only mention that! Ha

Seriously? Abbey Road has speakers with one of the cone centers pushed in? That is hilarious to be honest..... Are they aware that you can undo that with a simple vacuum cleaner on the lowest power value? :) I enjoy this series soooo much, but couldn't unnotice it once I saw it in the very first interview :D:D:D

Terry Brown... engineer of my favorite Rush album, Hemispheres... the drums are so clean, and articulate, then again, we're talking Neal... rip.
@@DigitalChemistryBand nice one!

You're very welcome Sarah! It was a blast
One of my favourite videos you've ever done Warren
Aw shucks! Thanks ever so much
The support team at Abbey Road is truly wonderful!
Yes! They are!
As soon as the video started I thought: "Chris looks like Joey Landreth", then saw his sweatshirt and yep, he's a fan :D
What an amazing video. Young engineers should ALL watch this
Agreed! I hope that they get to watch it!

Warren, why do the wonderful people of England start a sentence very loud and then get quieter or more mumbly as the sentence ends?
They have the best job in the world. Too cool.
Agreed! Wonderful job

I know the Hogsback very well, form may years ago though!
Oh man I think it would have to be Hitsville USA!
Absolutely!
My OCD itches. Can someone fix that knocked in dust cap on the speaker please?

I was accepted as the first intern at Abbey road for over 10 years, back in 1995. No one ever asks me about it, or my time there. Oh well.
I’m sure if this is still your career and you’ve gone on to do more in music people will be interested to know your journey!
Warren obviously wasn't making UA-cam videos in '95 or else you would have been
Haha indeed!@@timbrown7652
