This song just never gets old. More and more relevant every time I listen to it. Mark Owen is SO underrated.
If only he was born later and released his solo career nowadays, he would have been big. Who would've thought that his music was for the taste of today's generation. Such a brilliant and genius singer-songwriter on the wrong era.

Mark deserve so much more appreciation for his solo material, he's one of the most underrated artists out there. He's more than the cute one out of Take That (yes I agree he's the cutest person I have ever laid eyes on) but the amount of work and passion he puts into his writing and singing needs more attention instead of the crap which is out today! Hoping for more Mark Owen solo songs/tours!!

I couldn't agree more. Mark is amazing. I totally adore his voice. He is very talented. And may I just point out that Mark has had 4 solo albums. Whereas Gary has only had 3 solo albums. People always give Gary more adoration and praise for his song writing. But Mark is the most talented in my opinion xx
His sound tone is so distinguished , but he didn't get what he deserves unfortunately , so underrated .
I really cannot understand why Mark doesn't seem to find the success he deserves as a solo artist. This album failed to enter the top 20 n UK which is shameful cos it's a great record, and this is a great first single. Great lyrics and music. Keep it up mark!

it honestly baffles and upsets me that Mark's solo career wasn't huge, like his two later albums are so ridiculously good!!! they top most of Robbie's music and come very close to topping alot if Take That stuff, it's just amazing

Khloe Smith all three solo members from Take That have such unique voices Robbie, Gary, and Mark. It's really a shame Gary and Mark are not huge like Robbie Williams is. Only he made it so big as a solo artist. Though Mark is so gifted as a songwriter and singer and this goes to show us that the music industry doesn't approve of this incredible stand out unique voiced artist.
The music industry from 1920s-mid 1990s appreciated rare talent. Now all the really matters in music is only appnonise catchy pop tunes or some get lucky to get famous who are incredible artists of today. That's just my opinion though.
Back then a lot of talented artists were famous. Now we get Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainer and Nicki Minaj who are apparently so big and famous and I just don't get it?
I still remember the first time I ever listened to this song, 4 years ago on the plane on my way home from vacation, as soon as I heard this song I fell in love. I have listened to this song every single day since then, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

When Take That Split- up in 1996, Mark Owen was the first member the group to release a Solo Album. With his first Album 'Green Man', I don't believe he got the TRUE recognition that he deserved.
'Child' and 'Clementine' were Fantastic singles from this Debut, that should have seen higher chart ratings.
To this very day, of all the members of Take That, to release Solo Albums, Mark Owen is the most Underrated.

Been waiting a long time for Mark's solo material to surface again, such a hugely underrated talent. Wish people could separate the solo man from his other band; the two are very different entities. I think both are great but hope people/media will allow him the room to breathe with this. His work is so worthy (and deserving) of standing completely on its own. Hope this single (and album) will be one of many more to come. Cannot wait until June for the tour, looks like it will be a great one!

The fact that Mark Owen is underrated, is a shame because as far as originality of music genres are concerned (of all the Take That members) Mark Owen is the most creative in his musical vision.

You are so right Eugene. I was a huge take that fan back in the 90's and then really got in to Mark's solo stuff. Out of all of them, I think his work is the best. It's so full of soul and authenticity. Really looking forward to the tour too, just a shame the album isn't out until one day before. Still, gonna be a good one!

haha, so you got all these rock/popstars talking about their nxt big project with big announcements and all...and then you have Mark, talking about his little project and his little studio in his backgarden called the Rabbithutch and he just likes making music really and so he can make a mess there....and out comes this.....the more I listen, the more flabbergasted I am!!! I so love this humble special man :)
Totally not what I expected. I thought it would be much more acoustic with jangly guitars. Love this - has real depth of sound and his voice sounds very different to TT tracks. Hope he does really well - talented man.

Good real music. It's so nice to listening to a unique artist with a good voice in today's music. A lot of it is about sex, drugs, money and killing and twerking. That to me is meaningless music and this is meaningful music from Mark Mark who is a genius songwriter and great singer and is sadly underrated solo artist from Take That.
