Oh Julie. This is why I teach my littles that the golden rule is “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all! Your voice, story and message have brought me so much comfort and joy. You have a lovely soul Julie. My aunt used to say that if you don't have anything nice to say to someone or about someone, don't say it. Nothing comes out of being rude, back-handed or even passive-aggressive.
I've had so many people give me back handed compliments through out my life. And only just now after a lot of work on myself do I call people out, with the intent that they may think about what they say to others. It has taught me to be very mindful of how I say things. Thanks Julie. I work with someone who is fake friendly but is constantly undermining me and crossing my boundaries. It's troubling me deeply and I'm trying to respond in the best possible way. I needed to hear this video.
A good thing to keep in mind with these people is that their behavior says more about them that is says about you. Often they are this way from deep sub conscious messages of never feeling loved or acknowledged from childhood trauma. Learning not to react but to observe neutrally and respond with a smile, a compliment, asking how they are in a kind voice is so unexpected to them it can do wonders. Notice when they do something well and acknowledge it, which can be something theyve yearned for all their life. Dont be put off from any retaliations keep at it if not for her for yourself. See her as the golden light of her as Soul, past her role in her story. As Julie said we need to be the love to receive the love. Be the light.✨️💖✨️

Hi Julie, I'm sorry to hear people have been saying these things to you, I just enjoy the readings and comment in regards to what is said in those readings. Regarding boundaries, this has been a huge theme in my family of origin as we were never taught boundaries. Now that we're all older and I'm over the bs, people are trying to act like they don't know what they are doing. It's important to assert boundaries with those who refuse to have self awareness, refuse to work on themselves and want to continue being disrespectful after you've told them they are. I love this - and I think fair to say yes it’s a projection of/reflection on someone’s not so peaceful inner state if they go out of their way to make negative comments on someone’s hair or take offense to friendly engagement such as asking if we are having a cup of tea or coffee. I couldn’t agree more, so much negativity around. I find people are often spewing their crap over me. So time for setting boundaries. I must say, one thing that upsets me is when people say “Oh it’s not their fault, they’ve got adhd, or their not feeling their best or this or that or the other!”

In my opinion, we don't come into this creation to please everyone, it's impossible. We are, each of us is the divine spirit having a human experience and as such each of us is playing a certain character expressing in an unique way. If we are mindful we act and speak from the heart aligned with our true divine self and being in service of it. If I feel insulted by something I have the opportunity to look at this condition, accept it as what it is, make peace with it and release it from identification so that it won't bother again. We become less conditioned and more authentic with our true divine self and can be even better in its service reflecting to each other. Yes, be that what you like to experience!

Absolutely understand this. I have permed hair and get no comments about my ‘unruly’ hair style. However, always get comments when I straighten it about me looking so much younger. Seems no one except me cares about my hair really, the secret in getting these comments is just stage true to yourself. In respect of the other way around we all need to realise that our words and actions can and do impact others and not always in the way we intended. The key here is what my mother used to say, and I passed on to my kids, treat others as you want to be treated yourself
