Loved the Holbeck Hall. We used to have our Christmas works do there every year. Loved their cherries in kirsch! It was the most gorgeous hotel in every way - lovely inside and with great staff. So sorry to lose it as gad so many happy memories of there.
I used to work in Scarborough 97-98. This thibg came up naturally. Apperently theres a beach law in UK that what ever you find on the beach you can claim it as yours. I had a collague who had thibgs like toilet seats that he got there as the hotel was crumbling down
