I have heard, over the years, a things about academic success. First, I've heard that studies have shown that genetics are a big part of academic success. So that's out of your hands! Second, I've heard that how many books are in your home is another big part of academic success. That sounds completely in your hands! So I think if you're worrying about your child's academic ability or whether they have enough talents, I would say recognize that it's not in your control (like you said, every child is different) and if you want to do something about it just buy/get more books and read them with your child! 😂
