It's super-funny, no? Now I suppose I'll hear that Michael Bolton started out playing with Ministry. His debut album would have been "The Land of Rape and Honey."
Yes thats Moby. VC was our go to keg party band back in Darien and New Canaan. Moby used to work at Johnnys records on Tokeneke Rd. RIP Matt Craig fu Pollock
Moby is Richard Melville Hall, the great grand nephew of Herman Melville who wrote the novel, Moby Dick. Moby is also an awesome techno music artist from the early days of techno and acid-house.
I just watched Moby on Top of the Pops too. His Go performance from 1991 and Move from 1993. I thought both were excellent and Moby was dressed nice too in just a t-shirt tucked in with nice pants in the Go performance. I loved the old school feel of the early 90's and this was during Moby's Christian phase, before selling out to so-called 'independent' film producers with his work. I'm sorry to read that Moby had problems with Instinct records in the beginning because I had most of those albums and feel it was his best work under all those different monikers he had. The Christian Moby was the best Moby and he really knew how to... Drop a Beat!
@@sbswtnchoice I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I'm glad at least that his performance weirded regular viewers out in 1991 because they had no idea what he was doing, even if it's a little corny seeming now
Lol Moby played guitar in this band
So? his solo music might be nothing near as good as this, but this kicks arse, its great punk/H/C in anyone's books I reckon
