Jesus Spoke Greek

I understand that literacy rates were low before the spread of Christianity, but it seems Jesus and His disciples understood at least some Greek. The bible doesnt specifically answer the question, but Jesus's interactions with Greek speaking people such as Pilate and the Roman Centurion point to this being the case. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest they did not know Greek. I believe that some of the disciples were either profiscient at Greek or they had Greek assistance when they composed their books/ letters. What is far less likely is that it was all just made up. To conclude that would be disagreeing with virtually all of NewTestament scholarship. Stay blessed!
