God the nerves in simons voice at the start makes me laugh
It’s very odd seeing Simon with his guitar low lmao
and young but in such high definition
Tom Delonge wannabe lol
Emo Era
And its weird to see him without tattoos
They've always been such a great live band. In fact, they've gotten even better with time.
There early work reminds me of Emo/Post Hardcore bands Like Drive Like Jehu, Mineral and FAR
fuck yeah me too
Fuck me, so old Ben still had hair! The boys were still brilliant all those years ago
Thank you for sharing this!!
lol Simons guitar has no knobs! I’ve never seen anything like it. Anyway, incredible footage of the best band in the whole world.
Still such an epic track!
22+ years later, they are going stronger than ever!
Absolutely! A band whose albums are only getting better so far into their career is unusual.
disagree personally old albums the only best stuff
@@tookacabtotheairport6634 I respect that, but I strongly disagree. The songwriting is much better today than it was in the first three albums. Puzzle was better in that regard, but they really lifted off since Only Revolutions.
@@nedim_guitar respect the view man. just think the first 3 albums have the most character and the best instrumentals
Blackened sky is the best album, raw and the true sound of Biffy Clyro Mon the Biffy ( not Biff)
I saw first album at "talk of the town" in Northampton, they played the small room, next night my band played the big room, we were ok, they f---ing rocked!
That crowd never realised the beast that they were about to be 🖤🖤
Early Biffy is amazing, Blackened Sky and it's b sides are amazing, bit hit and miss now imo. Should've carried on in that manner, it sounded awesome and raw. With success tho comes change and pandering to the want of a big label
amazing
Ben with hair simons guitar so low an they have tops on.....what's going on lol
4:00 clouds
?
awesome :)
wow
simon's wee little face with no beard, and his emo studded belt xD
DAMN DAMN DAMN Amazingsausage!!!!!!!!
어머 세상에!!!!!!
Miss the old Biffy Clyro, to bad thay sold out and became radio friendly violin bullshit .
Aye, Cop Syrup is never off the fucking radio is it?
@@smshdchrb Aye good one track from post puzzle, I'm taking pre puzzle, you know blackened sky, vertico of bliss or infinity land, Album Days, you may be a newish fan, but I was there to see it all from the beginning, and when was the last time you heard, 27, joy discovery invention, all the way down chapter 2 , some kinda wizard on the radio?
But I can guess you have heard
Bubbles, black Chandelier, when we collide , Saturday superhouse or one of those recently? Don't sweat it Alot of the new Fans try to Deny that the band sold out.
So, just to clarify your understanding, Biffy no longer write the kind of music they genuinely want to and pander only to the labels and chart-following pop fans? That's honestly what you think they do and how Simon writes songs? You're probably pushing about 40 years old or something and a band you once liked stops exclusively making the kind of tunes you prefer and now they're sellouts for not doing the exact same thing for 20 years? Deary me, biffierfthanthou, indeed.
Just getting into them and I must say that the early stuff is next level. The sound became radio friendly for sure, still some good tracks though, some good tracks on the latest album
@@smshdchrbdid ye aye
Before they became Freemasons lmao
Are they really??
@@Zacharias618 every band or artist is when you get to a certain level. The Mountains video takes place in a masonic temple.
Who's the guy with all the hair on the drums?
@@billhawkins192 Ben Johnston
@@Hero_Of_Old thank you, I knew that, I was only teasing, which as a baldy myself I'm allowed to do 🤣
Seeing Simon wear his strap down to his waist rather than up at his chest reminds me of my first year of high school :')
He looked way cooler
