Keep in mind that this is a heavily-modded walkthrough, and Blackreach looks quite different from what you might have seen before. The giant glowing mushrooms are still there, as is the great Dwemer architecture, but it is also now home to a beautiful coniferous forest!

This remaster and modlist is designed to enhance the vanilla Skyrim experience while maintaining the look, feel, and aesthetic of the original game. The only real departure from vanilla is the addition of the Great Whiterun Forest, which transforms the tundra outside Whiterun into a dense and expansive forest. The ENB can be changed to suit a darker, colder, or more fantasy-like experience, but I feel that Silent Horizons largely maintains the feel of vanilla Skyrim.
