Hey Mike. I really feel so honored that you stoped by at our channel. Me and Blaž really cant imagine better hobby then flying RC planes and I just love planes with a story. And your Draco sure has a story. I was already making myself one for the last year, but then HorizonHobby came out with their piece of art. In my country the closest plane that I can get close to is RC plane ;-) But really. Somethimes I really imagine living in USA where anything is possible. But at least we have this hobby that conects true plane lovers. I wish you all the best, love your work on Scrapy and I cant wait to see Draco in all its glory again someday. Welcome back guys, you were missed. Mike Patey is a true artist in every way. I watch his videos all the time and hope hobbico will also make a version of his newest plane called Scrappy. I saw pilot Ryan fly the Draco, and at full throttle that crazy prop sounds like an EDF jet..lol
My prediction is that in 10 - 15 years this Draco plane will be worth a lot of money and become a collectors item! If you can you should buy another Draco and just keep it in the Box as a future collectors item ! 👍

That is beautiful, when I completed the Hobbyking future product questionnaire I suggested Mike's plane. Horizon have done a wonderful job of this I may well buy one just as a static model, until I get my flying hours and experience up. I would not want to miss such a beautiful model 👍
Pretty interesting Carl. And I was making mine 2 years ago but never tested it on the runway. I made mine in metalic gold paint. I will prepare it for maiden. It is 1.3m like the first one we filmed.

Like your videos. You both are able to get a laugh out of me and very enjoyable to watch. Do not get to watch a lot of videos, but once in a while I do get to at least listen to them while I'm working driving big truck instead of the radio. Don't get to watch it at that time turn screen out of my vision, but at least I can hear it from my head set or auxiliary plugged into the radio of the truck. Keep up the great work with the videos. You CAN do reverse on the NX6, but it's problematic. (I started flying on the DX6e. Upgraded to new technology with a NX6. Still, needed a true 7th channel, bought the NX8. BEST idea I've had all year!) Easy to do on the NX8! PLUS, light controller on the knob! 😁. & Merely $40 more than the NX6!
(I'm a retired army veteran. GOTTA have a hobby! 😁👍👋👋👋)
Oh yeah. I have it all but you cant have SAFE on NX6. And only two light modes.

They're called slats. It forces air between the slat and the leading edge of the wing, making the airflow accerate. The wing can then generate lift at a higher angle of attack.

599.99 is a steal for this Draco plane . I fly helicopters and 599. Can barely get me a good 550 class airframe. You airplane guys are lucky AF.
But for some way too expensive. It just depends how you lok at it. For me it is worth the money. The plane with a story behind.
