FINALLY! a rational take of Will Campbell's comments by someone that covers USC. I sware some people are forgetting this is a football game! Good stuff Marc
@@fredtheveteran4623 Nobody's saying all that. Those three guys are the only ones that anyone would consider to be 1st round 'locks' at the moment, but WR's Kyren Lacey and CJ Daniels both have at least some potential to be 1st rounders, as does Nussmeier if he has the kind of season we're expecting from him. Also TE Mason Taylor will likely be the first TE off the board in next year's draft, whenever that happens to be.
@@fredtheveteran4623 no, nothing negative taken. Two years ago Brian Kelly had to rebuild a roster with less than 50 scholarship players on it, so we've been a little lighter on talent than in the past, but this next class and the one after that should get us back to where we want to be.

We are going to break some big runs, use our TEs and WRs and move that ball. We are going to stop the run and play aggressively on your WRs. Something they didn’t do well with last year. This will not be a soft zone defense. We will be attacking and baiting the QB to throw the ball. We will be dropping back and changing up the DL rotation. Bring in more LBs at times and more DEs at others. We will be coming with pressure from the safety position as well. We will probably have a safety playing in the box most of the game and allow our corners to bump and drop our LBs to the middle of the field with a cover safety roaming. This will be a complicated defense to look at and figure out for a first year QB. Trust me I know Miller Moss is very good, I’ve seen him and im impressed, I think he’s going to take USC further than your previous guy, just not in this game.
