He found his place in the world and through that place, inspired hundreds of millions of people in different generations worldwide. There’s even more people who aren’t even born yet, and they’ll know who he was and will in turn be inspired by his stories. I never got the chance to meet him unfortunately, but he changed my life in ways he never knew, and who knows how many others’. You’re the man, Stan. Few can only hope to accomplish a portion of what you’ve achieved, but you told us to dream in the ways you did, and that it’s OK. Your physical time here is over, but what you’ve done will always keep you alive in our hearts and minds through our comic books, games, television shows and movies. And we love you for that. The line he said in spiderman sticks out to me. "Ya know, I guess one person can make a difference" it sticks out to me because he described himself. He changed the way we view comics with his characters, and he created the base for many of the heroes we know and love today. Maybe we will forget some heroes, but we will never forget the man who created them. We all love you stan... Excelsior!

The fact that he said he didnt care about whos team he was in means he didnt care about the fight...he cared and knows that friends fight but the end of the day...they would still be friends
"When I'm gone, I really don't care." that last sentence gives me chills, because he truly doesn't see himself as how we see him: a visionary, an icon, a legend. He doesn't fully realize how much he's given us through his characters and their stories. What a fulfilling life he led, we are eternally grateful.

My mother gave me a 12 cent spiderman comic and said... if you don't like to read after this then you dont have too. Because of the story I fell in love with reading and my world changed forever, not long after I became intrested in art too; but it was YOUR writing that inspired me. I feel its time that I put my writing out there for all and not just for my family and friends. I will miss you as will our universe but more so the you built and created ,the AWESOME and AMAZING MARVEL UNIVERSE. Making me cry
I have never felt so heart broken for someone I never met. This man helped shape my life. I think that's what a lot of people don't understand about the MCU. When we were kids these stories are what inspired us. Gave our life meaning and helped us overcome adversity. Not religion, not school, no politics. These stories of misfits of people who were trying to find their place in the world. I believe the popularity of the MCU speaks to the human spirit. We all want to be better versions of ourselves. The mythology of our generation is not about gods and devils and how they are all powerful. It is about doing what is right, no matter the cost, no matter the sacrifice. Now as a 36-year old I can show these movies and comics to my son in the hopes that he sees what I see. Life is struggle but life is also learning how to overcome that struggle and be a better man for it.

Stan Lee made such a difference in everyone's lives from the mine t he was born. He brought Timely Comics, (BThe name of the conpany before it was Marvel), from the ground up. Each of his characters have made such an impact on the world. He was, and is one of the best people on the planet. Marvel will never be the same but hopefully they'll use this to boost everything they're making.

Two years later and this cold feeling still comes back every now and then.
Celebrity deaths are tragic and sad but this felt like I lost a family member. I am so greatful for what he gave us.
For someone that had lived such a exceptional life, the man remained humble to the end. He brought joy to so many. Children dreamed of his characters, while many adults related to his characters so well, because besides being super heroic, they remained human at their core, vulnerable, but with an indomitable spirit.
He Put Smile on our face, Emotional to see a Legend goes, But this is life, you cant stop it, he gave the world a joy. Thank you Stan Lee for everything. 8 Years of a fan of IRON MAN! May he Rest in Peace Stan.

I cried. I well and truly let the tears fall. Most of these videos make my eyes glisten, but the tears don’t usually fall. They did here. We’ve lost a great hero, but gained a better sense of community and love. His legacy will be here forever.
Legends never die. But this legend, he was special. His physical state died, but his mental state is alive. That proves that Stan Lee never died and has always been alive, alive in our heart. Excelsior!
Though Stan was an amazing human being in almost every way possible, his most amazing quality is how humble he is. He never says that Marvel has been very lucky because of him. I mean, movies based on characters, his characters. He never claims that they’re lucky for him. He gives THEM the credit. He truly is a real life superhero.

Stan Lee didn't make my childhood. He changed made my whole life. He made outcasts like us feel home. He gave something for us to relate to, connect to, and also connected similar minded people. His works are no less than any other great scientist.

I love Stan. He thought of heros, not like the ones with super strength but the ones that help others when they need help themselves. He said he tried making well rounded characters and he succeeded. He understood that heros are humans just like everyone else, and if they're perfect they're stagnant. No, what makes us human is the pain. We are meant to get hurt, we are meant to feel pain in our lives. Any type of hurt, because without real hurt or pain there is no love and there is no emotion. To me, he just makes everything a lot clearer because I don't know how anyone could've thought of a superhero without those things. I have my favorite heros but even MY favorites, aren't perfect.
