Of Monsters and Men is an interesting band, my introduction to them was their song Little Talks when it was played on the radio.
My mom & I love their music, even got a copy of their first album in both of my mom's cars.(She has a jeep for her rural mail carrier job & a car for when not working) My mom says that the songs from their first album(Monsters in My Head) feels like it's telling stories.
While she's not sure about the second album(Beneath the Skin, this song is from it) we both still enjoy it.
I love this band! Seen them twice live! My autistic son's favorite band. His first concert! Love indie music! They have wonderful songs! Little Talks, Dirty Paws!
Also, you've got to check out their first album. Dirty Paws is great, Mountain Sound too. I love "From Finner". One of my favorite albums. It's like an adventure, their lyrics are so descriptive and poetic.
Lake House is my favorite song. But the entire album is amazing. All their music is amazing!

Good afternoon I liked the music yet as you I couldn't understand what the song was about. Myself I listen to gospel music mostly these days. I subscribed to your channel yesterday as you when you were watching The Chosen. Your reactions sold me 🥰 I had already watched all 8 episodes plus all updates. Your interview with Dallas was absolutely great! I also learned something new. It's no wonder now why The Chosen is such a great program! I have read The Left Behind books 3 times lol to find out that Dallas is Jerry Jenkins son explains a lot. Keep doing what your doing I feel as though you have found your calling in this life. @@LeonardoTorresMusic their song Dirty Paws is played while he is skate boarding in Iceland. Such a great song, but the lyrics are so "Indie" it's like either a third grader writing a story or an adult on acid. One of the two... Love it though!

Liked the song but have never listened to the band before. The lyrics that caught my attention were the same that caught your’s. Thought provoking but no clue what it’s about. Will have to check out this band.
Great band! My absolutely favorite! This song is mostly about being vulnerable with your love. There is a poetic vagueness to their lyrics, but actually all of "Indie" music comes across somewhat vague. That's part of the charm. And OMAM's songs are all like poetry or art masterpieces. It's really about "what does it mean to you?" Anyway, I loved this review because you made me hear this song in a different way, and understand why I love it so much.
Can't talk about OMAM without mentioning"Little Talks" and "Mountain Sounds", both really incredible. Also love their latest releases "Visitor" and "Destroyer" and "Alligator" of course. This band has never really done a bad song. Seriously. Every song is interesting and unique. Thank you!
Funny story, i absolutely hated them for a while! Little Talks came out and it was a summer hit in The Netherlands, i just hated the song everywhere i went and heard that goddamn song hahah. Until one day i driving to get some groceries, it came on the radio and i started listening to the lyrics. It was so dark and deep while the instruments were so upbeat and cheery. At that moment it became my favourite band! Always liked a lot of types of music, but from hate to absolute love, i wouldn't have it any other way!
