From the first time I ever heard that line, last year "mad how small altercations can define who we are", I realised how much of a genius Ren really is. A once in a lifetime artist. I love how the slide of the stings towards the end of this, imitate the sea gulls in his original version.

He is just such an interesting artist. That moment with Knox and Vik on stage was awesome. One of the crowd livestreamed it for those of us who couldn't go. Knox deserved that moment as much as Ren after the year he's had. Was just lovely. Only better if you'd been there too!

He's truly brilliant. He's in a similar orbit as NF but also very different. The Verve version is one of my favourite songs, but Ren made it even more raw with the contrast between the classical instruments and the street lyrics. Amazing.

Love this, here in Scotland (Britain), the country is very divided politically at the moment, with approximately 50 percent of the country wanting independence, but whatever your views are, listening to this just rouses a feeling of nostalgia that makes you feel proud to be British, even if its just for the duration of this song. This is a brilliant retake on a classic song by the Verve, Ren just made it even better.
This boy saved my life a year ago. Unfortunately you can't save every life and my friend decided to end her life 6 weeks ago. I've been sitting at home for 6 weeks and don't know what to do with myself. Every minute I think about ending my life, but somehow it goes on, even if it's just a single day that you spend more on this plan. Every day can change your life or the life of someone you don't know. I don't know how to thank you that your music keeps me going despite the demons in my head, but it works. Even if it won't be forever, I'm grateful to you every day that I can listen to your music and know that i´m not alone with your demons!

This one hits different for me, the original version of bitter sweet symphony is by a band the verve who was from the town im from and i grew up loving this track then to have my new favourite artist performing on it is perfection
The strings sounded epic perfectly sweetened, like a concert hall, but the vocal was completely crushed with compression, and muted by the wrong type of wind screen. It was hard to pick out the consonants. It must have been breezy! It's such a shame. 😉
