WALNUT IS NOT A STAIN, it is a timber, and it can be finished with any varnish, while some woods can be stained to immitate walnut, grovemade use actual walnut for all of their products.
Ordered the desk mat and monitor stand (although it won't be used as a monitor stand) earlier today. And I'm sure I'll wind up with more of their products down the line.
Really nice accessories! Roger, I'm assuming you purchased these accessories yourself and that Grovemade neither sponsored this video nor provided the product for free. Am I right in that assumption? (The reason I ask is that they are a bit on the pricey side but they certainly look well made and worth the cost.)
I'm a big fan of the Grovemade look, but unfortunately it'll cost an arm and a leg in shipping/import to Europe. I've looked at alternatives for their desk shelf but just haven't found anything that looks as nice. Really wish they had a European distribution center.
Me too I came across balolo.de and instantly bought the dual monitor stand. Hand crafted in Germany, shipped in one day and nice accessories. It is way more quality than Grovemade as far as I have heard. The wood is unbelievably smooth and looks great. Check it out.
This was a problem for me too, and the exchange rate. Tried Oakywood but gave up and made a big Grovemade order, great quality, don't regret it. Also, I got the big monitor stand on eBay, so look there as well.

The small desk matt was the only deskmat that I could find that would fit a 75 percent keyboard and a mouse. Works perfectly
