The thick-barked tree with white wood chips is Douglas Fir and the thin-barked tree with red wood chips is Red Cedar. In some places he also cuts a lot of Hemlock, and occasionally some Yellow Cedar, which is actually in the Cypress tree family. Hope that helps!
