I’m amazed that Naomi-san actually spends the time to start the dinner preparations when it is apparently already 8pm. It is Friday night, yes, and probably there’s no need to work on Saturday but it speaks volumes on how well she takes care of herself even if alone at that time.
Nami, I would like to thank you for giving us such relaxing vibes thru your videos. You remind us that we can enjoy the simplest things of everyday life and that taking things one day at a time makes it more meaningful. Being grateful and contented of what we have is what makes us truly happy.
I always love when she's like "While the main dish is marinating, I'll make a simple side dish" and proceeds to make a five course meal with like six side dishes lol. That would take me all night to make, hahaha.
I really admire Nami. She takes the time to cook healthy meals...even decorating them nicely and here I am dumping everything I cook in 1 plate...and I don't even look glamourous when I eat 🤦♀️

You have definitely helped me with taking time for me. It’s hard to want to cook a full meal when it’s just for yourself but watching you inspires me so thank you for that. Which will help me eat healthier as well so I’m not grabbing cereal or going and getting fast food.💕😘
Nami, I could smell the samosas through my computer. They looked delicious and so clever using the dumpling skins. This has been a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning. Thank you.
As an Indian, I was so happy to see you make samosas. I always buy mine from the local store even though I live in India right now. But Nami, the samosas you made looked amazing! I am not a fan of peas so I will try making them for the first time and with zucchinis.

I love seeing a plethora of embroidery wool or thread! The rainbow colors, the potential art ... so exciting! That tabletop hoop is interesting too! The pink bow will be nice on Koala, and the stitching will make it so fancy. Lucky Koala!
Don't worry too much about the Expire date. Especially if it's referring to a Sell By date. Nearly all items are safe for at least a day or two and sometimes longer than the date printed. By the way, I truly enjoy watching your videos. I find them very peaceful and interesting. I enjoy watching you make all the meals. My husband is a retired professional chef. I helped out in the restaurants with him sometimes here in Michigan in the USA.
Since I started watching now I have corn tea (refreshing), natto (so tasty) in the freezer, I cook with mirin, have miso soup with breakfast, eat daikon a few times week, and have an Infinite Cat rice mold coming in the mail. Fun discovering new ways to cook and try new food. I want to see if I can cook with kitchen chopsticks, too. Thanks for sharing, Nami! Always a pleasure.
Naomi, although we are countries apart and such different backgrounds I adore you and your videos. I learn so much from you watching you cook and I'm a 35 year professional cook myself. We can always learn, lol. Thank you so much for the calming relaxing feelings you bring. Your friend in America, Sue.
U made Delicious samosa at first attempt. As an Indian I know It's not easy to make n masala chai is good but don't add ice .it kills its flavor.I m an admirer of that how many dishes u cook always even after returning from office.love from India.
A tip on making samosas: if you make sure to seal the contents completely and leave no holes in the dough; the stuffing won't spill out while frying. Another wonderful video tho! 🥰
Molte grazie e ancora grazie!!
I discovered you about two weeks ago and now I'm obsessed. I watch about 3-5 videos a day. Sooooo relaxing! I love your mindfulness. I will definitely try to adopt some of your habits. You are such a good person. Sending you lots of love and happiness! Thank you!
Your meals are inspiring. After a long work day, I am more likely to eat leftovers or something quick from the freezer but you think nothing of starting to prep and cook a gourmet meal at 8 pm.
Nami, I love how real you are. Even when things don't go to plan you are honest and show us how you move on and learn. You don't portray perfection all the time. Those samosa looks devine, I might try them! Oh and yes your sleeves had me worried! 🤣🤣🤣
Dear Nami, We were inspired to also make samosas from watching your video today. We wonder if getting a grater for ginger would make things easier. You are really good at embroidery too! Where did you learn how to do that? Thank you for another super video! Love from Houston, Texas 🤠(USA)!
What a joy to watch this week. Yummy meals. And the embroidery. I could watch you do that for hours...or at least until your fingers got tired. I always get lost in the colors at the fabric store (and fall in love with the craft girls). For "...my chopsticks weren't stop...", what you really wanted was, "...my chopsticks wouldn't stop." That's an error you hear here, but from little kids. Your English is very good. It was interesting the way you fried the rice and put the omelet on top. I will have to try that. It is very difficult for me to cook eggs with out putting a sharp cheddar cheese on top or inside. My mother used to eat an awful mess of cooked spinach from a can. Your cooked spinach looks much better. I always eat spinach raw with a spiced vinegar. Makes me wonder what your cooked spinach tastes like. I hope you have a nice week. I am excited that Japan is going to outfit their helicopter carriers to base F-35s. Keep you safe from Kim and Xi. I worry about your sea.
How are your vlogs are so beautiful and claming like-you're probably one of the best youtubers i've ever watched ❤️ love from South India ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
All your cooking looks delicious! I'm a fan of samosas myself and the last few times I've madd them, I have even prepared the dough (I saw a good youtube video with great tips). Once they are done, samosas are a food that really make me happy and you can fill them with whatever you want! Lovely video as always, Nami!
Thank you for the chuckle during your embroidery. I admire you for drawing out your own design! Very nice! I hope you finished the tulips, your other stitches were very nice! I love embroidery. ❤️
I also watch vlogs other than Nami’s, but nothing calms me like her videos do 😂✨I wondered why that is. Maybe it’s because of the beautiful transitions (somehow she just knows when to change the camera angle and to skip and slow down at the perfect moments). Or maybe because it’s almost as if she’s talking to us in the subtitles (I love the emojis!) Or maybe because even though Nami is always clean and organized, she also has her cute and goofy sides too (the koala she tucked in her bed, saying she didn’t use a bowl to lessen the dishes she have to wash, or her obsession with cute kitchen appliances). I also like how much she spoils herself in little things (cute desserts, delicious coffee, cute tea, fragrant scents). Please never stop vlogging, Nami! (≧∀≦)
Hi Naomi. Lovely video as ever and thank you for inspiring my cooking too. I have done embroidery for many years and I have found that using a backing fabric behind the area to be embroidered helps with the stitch definition and stops the top fabric from puckering or gathering so much. I hope that this helps! Be well, Sally, UK 🌹

Love to see someone is making our dish in their country basically SAMOSA is an arabic dish but it is so popular in india that people think its an Indian dish bu chai is our original Love from India
I have been so inspired by these videos I went to a Japanese market here in Los Angeles to buy Japanese ingredients for cooking! I like that the cooking in these videos seems simple and convenient--something a busy working woman like me could do after a long day of work. Many things also seem healthy, although it's always amazing to me how much stuff is fried in oil in Japanese cooking.
I became so inspired watching your vlog, that I didn't even go to the shop to buy ingredients! I shopped my cupboard and fridge for anything that could pass for "Japanese": mushrooms, green onion, garlic, ginger, carrots and eggs... And made mushroom soup with a folded omelet on the side. iI
❄Good morning from Alaska!☃ I had to add that I find the little cow holding the chopsticks so adorable! Japanese style is so detail oriented. It makes a difference.💕
Your videos are always so cute !! Today I leave you an Italian recipe that I hope you like ❤️ Ingredients for the gnocchi: Red potatoes 500 gr 00 flour 175 gr Salt up to 7 gr Durum wheat flour method: Mash the still hot potatoes on a pastry board with the help of a potato masher, add the flour and salt and knead with your hands to obtain a soft but compact mixture. Take a portion of dough at a time and roll it out with your fingertips to form loaves of 2 cm thickness. Cut the loaves into pieces and pass each piece of dough on a streak or on the prongs of a fork, pressing lightly with thumb. Cook the gnocchi in plenty of boiling salted water and drain as soon as they come to the surface. For the sauce: blend 150g of sweet gorgonzola with 50ml of cooking cream and some Parmigiano Regiano in a blender. Cut a pear into cubes and cook it in a pan with a knob of butter until soft. Season the pears with salt, nutmeg and pepper. Add the gorgonzola mixture and mix over low heat for two minutes. Drain the gnocchi in the pan, mix and serve ❤️❤️❤️
Nami Plum/date/tamarind sauce is the best to dip anything in. You can make it by either mixing equal parts of the 3 and warming them up and will keep in freezer for use as needed for about 1 year, or make enough for each use. Or you can make it by combining equal parts dates, fresh plums ( in season) and tamarind concentrate. Add brown sugar to taste only if needed. This can be canned or frozen for future use. Samosas also go well with a coriander/coconut chutney. I use my nutribullet to make it and use a steel cup I keep separately only for grinding my masalas or chutneys or spicy sauces in. TFS Embroidery is a lost art. I learnt it when I was very very young and have my grandmothers book ( over 100 years old) I still use to learn new stitches or as a reminder for one I have not used to embroider in a while. Have a good new week. I always think of my college friend from Okinawa who I sadly lost touch with when I watch your videos. She taught me to make fresh Japanese dumplings and sushi. We had a lot of fun as foreign students together in the US till she returned home. Her name was Kumiko Yamada. I never give up home of finding her again. Tfs your weekend with us. Stay blessed
I have an entire collection of stuffed animals I can't part with. A select number get situated close by my bed that are cute or have a special memory attached to them.
Me too. But sadly I also sleep with 3 huskies occupying 80%of my bed so often I find it squished or under someone tail. 🤣😂🤣😂Well, the only thing I can say is that I try!!!
Me to, i have a stuffed mouse. 42 years old. Santa gave it to me when i was 7 years old. Now i'm 49 years old. I mean the Dutch Santa aka Sinterklaas. So not the Santa from Christmas. It was also my first what i learned when we moved from South Afrika to the Netherlands
Me to i have a elephant who is 38 years old and a Winnie Pooh and I make sure they are in a comfy position . ☺️ And I don't care in the slightest if that's crazy or not
My 50 year old mom still has a ton of her stuffed animals from her childhood and has instilled the love of them (but mine) into me. (I still buy stuffed animals too, but very rarely).
I have watched the last two years, your simple apartment has become a luxurious and welcoming home. I'm so excited when you shop to see what you bring home. See you next week (video).
I would love a cookbook of your recipes. Some items would have to be substituted but that is doable. I love watching to create your meals and wish I could sit down and with you and enjoy them too, what a treat that would be. ❤
I love that your family send you food like sweet potatoes. They looked amazing too! I bet your grandmother is a fantastic home cook. The other impressive feat is what you produce in a kitchen 1/4 the size of mine.
I look forward to my saturday mornings watching you, its so calming and helps me go about my days more thoughtfully! Thank you nami :) Love from canada 💛
Delightful! I appreciate that you leave in mistakes as it adds to the enjoyment of the video. Now if I do something incorrectly I think of how well you approach a mistake and I feel better. 🥰
I’m a new subscriber hello from Canada, oh my how calming and so beautiful I find your videos. My daughter asked what I was watching when I was staying with her this week. She said oh my gosh how sweet ( referring to you and your videos)💕 You give me a sense of calm and peacefulness unlike anything I have seen on you tube. Thank you🙏
The pink ribbon for Koala looks kawaii already looking forward to see the finished piece next weekend 😍 And those samosas what a coincidence am also having onion samosas with filter coffee now 🤩
Hi Nami. I was so happy to see that you posted your video earlier than you normally do! I have to go somewhere so I look forward to finishing it later. I like the changes you've made to your room. Very nice. Your English has greatly improved! 😁
I watch you because as other people say, it’s “therapeutic”. I just discovered and subscribed to you recently. I don’t know any Japanese so I have to see the English translation all the time. I’m from the U.S. and I go to work everyday from 9 am to 7 pm and sometimes longer. I’ve been in this line of work/listening to other people’s problems for about 20 years so when I come home I don’t like a lot of noise and long for solitude. Your videos are relaxing. I have been to Tokyo and Kyoto but only for a very short time as a tourist but I really like the food in Japan. In one place where I work there’s a Japanese market which i frequent a lot. I even wished I live close to it so I’ll buy their food everyday that’s how much I like it! Can you tell me what brand your cooking pots/pans are and where you bought them. I feel that I can try and cook if I have the right cookware and yours seem to be easy to maintain/non stick and easy to wash. Thank you for creating the videos.
Oh! I LOVE the cute coffee and little cakes in the teacups you had for breakfast. So cute! ❤ Wait... Nami did you hand draw the Koala bear embroidery patterns? So pretty! You draw nicely..you must get it from your artistic mother. ❤❤
Hi Nami, I feel thrilled by the boniato, so I'm going to cook it (where I live we only eat it boiled with some cinnamon). In my high school days I do cross stitching. Greetings from San Luis Potosí, México.
I dont know how you can prepare a long elaborate meal when its late and you are hungry!!! I just can’t! Lol Everything look so good and tasty! I would gladly come over of supper! Lol 😍
One of my goals is to have Nami's motivation of cooking nice food...coz honestly, most of the time I'll just cook easy meals or just order foods that needs more preparation

Your videos make me feel at peace, to remind me that a simple life is ok too

ピンクはnamiさんに一番お似合いの色ですね🌱
ありがとうございます💛ついピンクを選んでいるので嬉しいです😂💗

❄Good morning from Alaska!☃
I had to add that I find the little cow holding the chopsticks so adorable! Japanese style is so detail oriented. It makes a difference.💕
I noticed cow too. Shake your hands. Already snowing in Alaska? Such a quiet in a mystery way place. Loved that state and stay warm then.
Nami, your videos are giving me inner peace and I love to watch them during lunch at work, they make me relaxed and happy. Thank you!
Your videos are always so cute !! Today I leave you an Italian recipe that I hope you like ❤️
Ingredients for the gnocchi:
Red potatoes 500 gr
00 flour 175 gr
Salt up to 7 gr
Durum wheat flour
method:
Mash the still hot potatoes on a pastry board with the help of a potato masher, add the flour and salt and knead with your hands to obtain a soft but compact mixture.
For the sauce:
blend 150g of sweet gorgonzola with 50ml of cooking cream and some Parmigiano Regiano in a blender.
毎回素敵な生活振りで 心がスッキリします。
また楽しみにしてます。
TFS
Embroidery is a lost art.
Hi Nami! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos. Love Juli ❤️😊.
Hi Juli! Thank you so much for your Super Thanks!💖 Your kind and big support makes me feel so happy. It means a lot to me. Thank you💗 Love from Japan🥰
@@naminokurashi I admire you so much. I always keep you in my prayers. I use to live in Japan. ❌⭕️🌹
I am happy to see that I'm not the only adult woman who puts my stuffed toy in a comfy position when I make the bed haha
Thank you Nami! Chai tea is my favorite! The samosas made my mouth water! Have a wonderful week! 💕
I would love a cookbook of your recipes. Some items would have to be substituted but that is doable. I love watching to create your meals and wish I could sit down and with you and enjoy them too, what a treat that would be. ❤
My cat heard the fish container and had to come watch. He stayed for the whole dinner. ❤️ :3
I love that your family send you food like sweet potatoes. They looked amazing too! I bet your grandmother is a fantastic home cook. The other impressive feat is what you produce in a kitchen 1/4 the size of mine.
Merci Nami pour ce bon moment passé avec toi, prends soin de toi, petit clin d'oeil avec le petit chat si mignon .a bientôt bisous Lysiane.💐🍀😘🐱😉
I think you should create a cookbook of all your recipes.
I am so amazed - when I lived alone, I would only cook 1 dish per meal for myself, she puts so much effort in her meals!
I love your videos. So interesting to see the workings daily life in another country from mine. So great. Thanks for sharing this with us.❤
I look forward to my saturday mornings watching you, its so calming and helps me go about my days more thoughtfully! Thank you nami :) Love from canada 💛
I couldn’t stand coming home from work at 8pm.. makes me think I should feel lucky having a 8-4 job
Delightful! I appreciate that you leave in mistakes as it adds to the enjoyment of the video. Now if I do something incorrectly I think of how well you approach a mistake and I feel better. 🥰
Yes, please show us the genuine Nami. I fall in love with you every week.
I’m a new subscriber hello from Canada, oh my how calming and so beautiful I find your videos. My daughter asked what I was watching when I was staying with her this week. She said oh my gosh how sweet ( referring to you and your videos)💕
You give me a sense of calm and peacefulness unlike anything I have seen on you tube. Thank you🙏
The pink ribbon for Koala looks kawaii already looking forward to see the finished piece next weekend 😍
And those samosas what a coincidence am also having onion samosas with filter coffee now 🤩
I now have my brother watching you, he loves seeing japan. I love how peaceful your video's are.
One of my favorite parts too!!
コーヒーと🍰美味しそうですね!お店のlogoをしっかりチェックしちゃいました笑 夜8時前からご販を作るって偉いです。サツマイモ美味しそうだったので今度参考にさせて頂きます!
Hi Nami, I feel thrilled by the boniato, so I'm going to cook it (where I live we only eat it boiled with some cinnamon). In my high school days I do cross stitching. Greetings from San Luis Potosí, México.
おいしいレシピをありがとう。
楽しみにしています。
素敵なビデオ、素敵な一週間をお祈りします。😊👍
I dont know how you can prepare a long elaborate meal when its late and you are hungry!!! I just can’t! Lol Everything look so good and tasty! I would gladly come over of supper! Lol 😍
That exacty what i was thinking, she has a lot of motivation and self love to do it at 8 pm , in my case i would have prepared a small sandwich 😅
@@lightnina5912 or milk & cereal in my case! :D
@@csushma24 lol that even faster than mine 😆
You have a great grandmother.take care of her cause one day she will be gone like mys
AHHHHHH
IM FROM INDIA AND I CANT TELL YOU HOW HAPPY THIS MADE ME
Thank you Nami San ❤️
One of my goals is to have Nami's motivation of cooking nice food...coz honestly, most of the time I'll just cook easy meals or just order foods that needs more preparation
I still don't get why Nami doesn't have is own cooking channel. She is really good. I end up setting up the salad on fire when i cook
😂😂😂😂
I've thought of that and a cookbook. I think she could help with your salads. 😀
