I have a Stanley thermos jug, that was crushed when a dozer ran over it. I sent it in to them and they replaced it, no questions asked. I have been using the replacement for almost 40 years now. Stanley is good stuff.
sorry to be so off topic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Dustin Jamal I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Really amazing set for cooking. I hope camping soon. Mexico City have near many places and incide for camp. I want the advenutre of nautraleza. Well friend very hapy for share you happy kind of life camping!
Damn that is an awesome kit. I love the attention to detail like the how to pack diagrams. I wish I'd know about this kit. I just put car camp kits together for my sons (so they would quite bowering mine). This would work much better than what I used.
Very nice! I bet the utensils are smaller for use with the pan. This seems to be an all around more rounded and functional kit than the prepncook cookset. I never understood what the spatula was even doing in that set. I'm currently running the MSR alpine 4 with an added MSR alpine fry pan, and a revereware fry pan. I took the spatuladle from a prepneat kit it's functional and I've added gsi plates and bowls and coleman utensils to round it out. This Stanley kit is pretty impressive! $80 is NOT bad. I'm sure I have well over $80 into my setup!
I really like Stanley products, I own the first 2 kits that you show in your video, and I recently bought the Stanley Adventure Prep + Eat Fry Pan Set before I saw that this set in your video existed, it has the frying pan from this kit, 2 of the 6 inch plates, a spatula with handle like that one, 2 sporks, a cutting board, trivet and a rubberized plastic type lid to keep it all together, I have just purchased the kit in your video today and hope to get it before Labor day so I can take it with me and try it out. Good video, I gained some insight in the versatility of this kit by watching,
Just came across this set at REI and this video was just what I was looking for. I'm going to pull the trigger based on your review. Thanks for the upload!
@@jiujitsu2000 Been going between this and the MSR Stowaway 1.6L pot ($25 for just the pot), and honestly trying to put together a comparable kit that's compatible with the MSR, the price is pretty fair. Even cutting corners and just going with bowls and UCO utensils, the price comes out to about the same as the Stanley kit. My only complaint is that the Stanley is almost too much pot at 3.5 liters. Sent even imagine carrying the 4L. For car camping? It'd be fine. But for backpacking with a group of 4 or so newbies who haven't invested in gear yet (trying to get them hooked so I have someone to go hiking with)? It may be a bit much. Still, it's easily the best value for quality out there, from what I've seen. Anything else that's comparable is either considerably more expensive or incredibly suspect. Thanks for the review. It helped me pull the trigger on this.
Good video. I have the other Stanley items you mentioned and I will purchase this one as well. First thing out of the box is to drill a couple of holes in the pot for a bail to hang over the fire. Also making or purchasing a bag to put it in will be requires as well.
I think this would be perfect paired with a coleman 425 or 424... Pair it with a gsi 9 cup perc and a few mugs and that's a complete car camping setup in not a lot of space!
Thereal111t great to know, I have the cook and prep set using the Trangia is difficult to control the flame but I just got me the Coleman 533 and I’m glad to know it’ll work better.
On the prep kit, that is not a spatula. It is a scraper/strainer to be used for pasta, dumplings and the like. It is engineered to be used in concert with the paddle. I know it is called a spatula on the box, but those who cook know it is too thick for that chore.
Awesome video! Thank you! Just wanted to mention that the plates fit in on top of the bowl to keep food warm or away from bugs when prepping food. Cool little tip I learned from another video.
thats a great i would like to have a kit like that but got to waite for the price to come down befor i can afford one thanks for the great video god bless you and your family
Nice set. I have a question would any of the Stanley 2 pot prep pot fit in the 3 qrt pot including the frying pan. What I'm look to have is to have two pots and frying pan to take with me camping.
Great job on the review. I own the other two Stanley sets, now I need to get this one. The first thing I'm doing is switching the take down utensil sets. That way the bigger, more robust set is with the larger cook set where it belongs. I have to say, I think $65 might be a more appropriate price point for this set. At $80 the flatware, and sporks should be more durable, like the previous set. That said I'm still going to purchase the set, so I guess they're a little smarter than I am at sales. lol
JIUJITSU2000 yeah I actually saw that video first, and then had to check out this one. It'll be interesting to see what, and how I put together out of these sets.
Do you happen to know the inside diameter of the bottom of the pot? I've already got some TOAKS Ti plates that look like they'd be a close fit and would be a little bigger. Great video, and thanks for sharing so much info!
Man-O-Man and then some! I want one too bad now...lol. I have to first say THANK YOU for showing this in detail! Now since I've seen it...here is my first impressions by sight only. I am a bit disappointed in the choice of plastic they went with this time because it all seems cheaper made and flimsy...yet to be fair I don't have one in my hand just yet to get the feel....That Fry Pan IS THE BOMB!!! Yeah Buddy!...The pot would really be roomy enough to cook up a HUGE MESS of Frog Legs...lol. And now because folks like to hang their pots over a fire for long term cooking of Stews and the like, I can see instantly how to hang that puppy over said fire for some good Chili. 80 Bucks is a bit stiff even for me but the investment would be worth it alone for just the pot and Skillet. Over-all I would say yep, I want it...gonna get it...and you can be assured that I will Blacken that Cook Set up right an awful lot on the camp grounds...lol.
JIUJITSU2000 wow that is really but I want you to no you do not have to my friend I sent you those lanterns to be a blessing but thank you my friend and god bless you
+brianj123458 This is what we do as UA-camrs. We help each other out. It would be an honor for me to be able to help you a little with your kit. God bless you!
if you took out suff, would you be able to fit the 24oz cook pot inside it? it would be interesting to mix and match the stuff in it with the other cook sets they make to customize your setup, i think if i used that i would probabky ditch half of the stuff and set it up to carry all my cook stuff in one.
+AG Survival they sell just the pan I'm out of state and can get that info when I get back home, but it might be quicker to check the Stanley website or look at it on Amazon
Do you think the handles on the pot could be used to suspend the pot above a fire also? either by building up some rocks or by suspension? btw thank you for your videos!
That would be really great! I hope Stanley reads these comments because I have 1 more suggestion for them and that is to include a carry bag that could be used as a sink and or water tote.
wow that's nice. but wow it take me 4 months to save I get 20 a month from my check for me. usly for my fishing group. but I've got enough stuff for now think I have to quit my group anyway. but I'll never quit giving my fishing gear away till it's all gone. but great video man that's awesome. god bless
well I will say stably stands behind what they make I got thermos from 07 an it stopped working. they sent me a new one no charge an argument so I say thank you stanly. this is my next thing to buy of there's
Got a Stanley thermos back in the 80s still works fine on a cold day out in the cold from 6 am till 6 pm 3 in the afternoon still piping hot coffee thank you, Stanly.
Wish i could see a comparison of all of their cook pots size wise, their web page doesn't even tell you the the liquid volumes of the different cook pots, plus the way the names are on the different sets its easy to get them mixed up, is the base camp cook pot the largest they make?
Member of the Green Cup Club times 5. (Think that's how many adventure cups I've bought so far. Most given as gifts.) Plus other Stanley stuff, so in general, like their products. Looks like a good kit, that I would have bought back in the days when we did a lot of "car" camping trips. Would have been nice for our truck camper or 5th wheel trailer. Still has potential to go into family sized bugout/get home kits. That said, a couple of thoughts. First, will the frying pan hold up over open fire cooking?? Suspect the clad layer is aluminum for good heat distribution. Does the user's manual say its OK over hot coals? Best I could see, looks like they were using it on a camp stove, which should be fine. Same thought for using the pot lid as a "frying pan", especially over the coals. Will the handle stay attached?? Best I could see, appears to be spot welded. Never liked the snap together serving utensils in the smaller kit. From what I see in this kit, still don't. They could have left them out and made the plates larger, probably without adding any weight. The cutting mat is OK, but could have also been left out for the same reason. Or, to lower the cost of the set. BTW....... Today, it's easy to buy inexpensive flexible cutting mats and trim them to fit kits. Leave them whole & use as place mats on dirty picnic tables, or serving mats when sitting beside a campfire. Drying rack is a good idea. Generally speaking air drying is the most sanitary way to dry dishes, if an automatic dishwasher isn't being used. This helps ensure dishes are dry before they are packed back into the set. Thus, reducing the opportunity for mold and other nasty stuff. Thank you for your detailed review. Enjoyed watching. Will be interesting to see how this kit works out, as folks, like yourself put it through its paces. Thanks for sharing.

@Dustin Jamal It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!

@Rodrigo Grady glad I could help xD
Stanley puts a lot of thought into their products. I appreciate their attention to the small stuff.

Very nice kit for sure. Stanely is becoming my favourite cooking sets.
Such a great kit. I use mine all the time. Right now $59.99 at Costco, go get yours everybody!
Excellent price! Thank you!
I love the Stanley cookware and this sure seems like a nice addition especially for families
Really amazing set for cooking. I hope camping soon. Mexico City have near many places and incide for camp. I want the advenutre of nautraleza. Well friend very hapy for share you happy kind of life camping!
thanks for showing the base camp kit. after watching this video multiple times I got myself one. used it twice already. really nice all in 1 kit.
Stanley tools is a different company owned by Black and Decker. No affiliation with Stanley cookware owned by PMI.
Got ya, Stanley Bostitch. Thank you for sharing that! :-)
JIUJITSU2000 I just did another video with a huge shout to you and a couple more people my friend....
Great review! Your video is the first one that comes up on a search. This is exactly what I'm looking for.
The stanely fry pan is the best fry pan you get on the market imo
I’m late to the party but I enjoy my set. 👍👍 you could use the frying pan as a weapon. 👍👍
I do have all 3 and yes I recommend it.
Damn that is an awesome kit. I love the attention to detail like the how to pack diagrams.
I wish I'd know about this kit. I just put car camp kits together for my sons (so they would quite bowering mine).

Another superb video on a comprehensive Stanley cookware set! Stanley rules for my camping $ !

$80 is NOT bad. I'm sure I have well over $80 into my setup!
I just LOVE your videos!
Thank you! Blessings from Arizona!!
looks great .bit pricey for me . but we will see what the future holds . god bless you my friend .

Great job. Thank you.
Awesome review
Very detailed and informative
like the frying pan too! what you think? fit a second pan as lid on the other pan, for baking? with the thick bottom, you become no hotspots?
Gonna buy one for the trunk of the car!!!
Can make a heck of a pot of deer chili in that kit! The fry pan, now thats what im talkin about! I love those heavt bottom pans! Rock On!
Its a monster. I love it! :-)
Bearded Seabee 82 i
over $70 now..up to 80..glad u all made the price go up lol
And like every other Stanley set there is plenty of room for extra tea, spices, lighter and a cleaning rag.
Looks like a great kit for the money, thanks for the review.
Do they warranty the plastic components for life too?...
this was a really good video thank you so much please keep bringing us your knowledge
great video, thanks!
Very informative video.
Awesome review on an awesome cook set! 1st time viewer... I sub'd!
Could you please measure across the top of the pot where the lid sits and across the bottom as well?
Thanks for sharing. I want one
The fry pan alone costs around $40.00 by its-self. so actually your getting ALL the other stuff for $40.00 bucks also.
Nice review thanks for posting

those holes are for straining the water out
do the plates fit on top of the bowls like a lid? just something to keep the bugs out

The plate makes a good cover for the bowl
A great set for $61.
I use st.steel stove burner covers for plates
the dish drying rack is both stupid, and ridiculously awesome at the same time, lol.
With just me the wife and dog. I use my camp cook gear all the time on the stove. Keeps ya from making to much. Great review. I gotta get one now.
Any fry pan as good as that one, will be $20-25 by itself.
Nice
I don't need a kit this big. Usually it's just me or me and my son. Nice looking kit though.
Tool company? More like the vacuum bottle company. $65 with free shipping from Jeff Besos.

Is it big enough to boil two lobsters 🦞 🦞
Good review but please don’t wash your dishes in a river. Boil water in your pot and wash your dishes away from a water source. Thanks for the video
Too much plastic but very ingenious. Stanley is great
Stanely moved to a more sustainable non-single use plastic. That's the difference.
I was thinking 50.00$ maybe.
They want $140 for them now .
I'd pay $60.00
