I suffer from anxiety and your videos are honestly helping me to relax a lot. I always watch them before going to sleep and I can not thank you enough for the help. Your videos make me so happy :) Sending you lots of love from Spain
Paula Zaslavski wow, I'm so glad to hear that. I never thought my videos would have such an impact on people but a few of you viewers have told me similar things. I couldn't be more happy that you find this in our videos and thank you for sharing your experience 💛 Sending you much love! 🌼
@@GoodEatings they do! I watch your videos because they remind me of the ease of life before kids and they also remind me of home. And inspiration. And all of that :) love from Canada 🇨🇦
You prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
Malin, I am a new subscriber from the US. I added quite a few of your older videos, like this one, to my play list. It sounds like you went through a hard time with maybe some unhelpful negative feedback? It also sounds like this community provided a reality check for you, telling you that your aesthetic and content are deeply appreciated. I'm here to echo their sentiments. I occasionally watch other vegan UA-cam videos. For the most part, these videos are made by people from the US or Canada and tend to have a very different vibe from you. There's a place for everyone at the UA-cam table, and those of us who need a calmer, slower, more gentle pace to our videos find you to be an oasis. Look at how many post comments saying that watching your videos brings down their anxiety, reduces their stress, lulls them to sleep! This is a true gift, and I thank you for sharing it with the internet. So many comments ask for more-more-more videos. I'm hoping that you hear appreciation for your work, and not pressure to produce. What you do is both art and craft. Such things take time to allow ideas to percolate. I'm hoping that you care for yourself and your relationships and don't succumb to pressure to keep posting lots of content. I hope I'm not alone in saying I don't mind waiting a bit for a lovely, thoughtful, brilliantly edited video with great music. Speaking of music, are the music credits posted anywhere? I really like your selections!
My name is Minna Sandstrom and I grew up in Scandinavia, so grateful for you being you, the food you cook and showing Sweden . When I am homesick for Scandinavia I love to watch these and feel so refreshed by your Scandinavian personality and the nature I see and surroundings. Thank you so much Malin!
I know you probably hear this a lot, but I adore your videos. I get so excited when you post and LOVE your artistry not only through the content, but the way you edit them. It is like being in a cinema, like watching a beautifully made film. I grew up in the United States, but was born in Estonian and moved back to Estonia about 2 years ago to study in University. I would love to go to Sweden one day, it is one of my top places. Most of the groceries I buy are ICA brand, ahah! I also remember reading on your blog that you were a dancer, I was too! I studied for about 14 years. I decided to change my path and study English Language and Literature. I also fell in love with yoga about 2 years ago and it has helped me through so much in my life, I hope it gives you mental clarity, too. You are a HUGE inspiration to me. I aspire to one day make such beautiful content as yours with such care. Everyone gives off a certain kind of energy and you give off a beautiful glow that is contagious. I know I am rambling, but I know you mentioned you've been dealing with some negative emotions and I completely understand. There are so many days where I feel like I have no idea what I am doing, it terrifies and saddens me. But then, I refocus my passions and remind myself that sometimes all that matters is just being and your path will find it's way to you without having to force it. A quote I like is "Get out of your head and into your heart" Keep shining. Keep creating. Sending good vibes to Sweden!
TheEarthSpeaksSoftly I Love that quote of going from your head into your heart! It's exactly what we often need to realign when times are feeling rough and we need to make change or just accept something. So glad you have found something that helps you refocus, yoga does that for me too. Often I also feel happy when I do it, like dancing, which means a lot! Thank you a million times for this beautiful message, it's really so heartwarming and I really appreciate it. 🌼✨💛
I’ve watched about 15 of your videos so far, and I love them. It’s funny that someone commented that it didn’t look like you ate a lot because I always think that I wish I could eat as much as you and be as healthy a size (thin) as you. 😊. You’re making lovely videos. Thank you for sharing your life and lovely meal ideas. Just remember, there will always be questioning and even unappreciated comments. Don’t let them affect you. 🌺
Lisa Santiago wow, very pleased that I can inspire you! I still have a bit to go until I have seven years under my belt but I know it will come, this is a life long journey. Thank you for sharing and watching, looking forward to sharing more with you soon! 🌼
Hi! I recently posted a comment on an older video on how much I LOVE your channel. However, after hearing some of the stuff you shared on this video. I wanted you to know that you are doing a FANTASTIC job. You're videos are lovely as your approach, your home and your personality. Keep making videos, do not stop. Do not listen to negative comments and just follow your passion. Your work is great, your content and your recipes. Love your home! Your adorable and you are a blessing to many of us. So glad I found your channel! You have a subber for life! ❤️
Very nice to see a slow paced video and the inclusion of things that did not work out is very nice and calming too. Wonderful images, music, ambience, attitude and message. Also great recipes. And totally have felt that a marathon recipe was beyond me after I began it.
I am so glad you have decideD to speak a little bit more in your videos. Now we can see a little bit more of you and you are sucha nice and honest person. I love your videos because they are so relaxing yet so professional:D lots of love from Spain. ERES MARAVILLOSA!!
I've only watched 2 of your videos but I really enjoy the peaceful wholesome feeling of your videos, I love your eclectic dishes and your beautiful garden home. I think your bibimbap looked very beautiful and tasty. thanks for sharing your life with us.
I'm so happy for you that you are feeling so much better and that the comments were helpful to you to regain confidence! You look really good and glowing in this video. Again it was such a pleasure watching this. Those yellow flower fields are so pretty! And the food you make looks delicious, thanks for all the recipe inspiration! Do you make your own apple sauce by the way? Looking forward to the raw cauliflower recipe!
Mo Di thank you! I really am feeling more clear and focused again. I'm glad you can see that 😊 I think the sun helps with that healthy glow, I've missed it! Looking forward to sharing the cauliflower recipe soon. And yes I have made my own apple sauce in the past, last year I made lots in the autumn when apples were abundant and we got lots for free from friends. At the moment I buy an unsweetened version that simply contains just organic apples by a brand called Urtekram. It comes out cheaper for now 😊
I've just finished with my workout, and I swear this is so calming to watch, I can almost feel my muscles become relaxed ! I am a bit jealous of your garden, too, I can barely keep my umbrella tree alive !
The bibimbap looks absolutely amazing! Major props to you for going all out when preparing the ingredients :D Although I should take the time to prepare all the ingredients, my family and I usually take whatever's in our fridge (usually leftover side dishes) and put it all together. I've always loved eating it because of that convenience. I highly recommend adding sauteed squash, Korean squash if it's available. When I don't have korean squash at home, zucchini does the trick just fine. Love your content, makes me appreciate nature and what it has to offer so much more.
Hey, Malin! Firstly, congratulations for your great job both here and in the blog (and congratulations for the-man-behind-the-camera too). Second and last for today. Don't stress about quantities. About telling the world exactly how much you eat in a day. I hope I speak on behalf of more followers when I say the we are here for what you eat. For the ideas for main meals and snacks, pairings we never thought before, maybe even a touch of Swedish cuisine. We are not here to count your rice crackers. If somebody wants to know how a normal daily energy intake looks like, it's ok, but to know how YOUR daily energy intake should look like you better look for medical advice. People with eating disorders who are not in recovery phase will like to know how much you eat, just to eat less. Been there, done that. Once you recover, you start to feel hunger again. Is the hunger (not to mix up with anxiety or any compulsion) what tells you how much and when. Lots of love from 🇪🇸! XOXO
I adore and envy your house and garden and the fact you are surrounded by beautiful fields and countryside. I have a tiny courtyard where I grow a few herbs and tomatoes and I love to go and tend to them and see them grow. Beautiful video as always x
Autumn Sky thank you! we were lucky to find this house when we did. we're enjoying it especially now in the spring and summer. I think your courtyard sounds lovely and I'm right there with you enjoying watching the plants grow, it's my new favourite pass time! 💛
Just found your channel and am really enjoying it! Also, currently reading Daring Greatly after having read Rising Strong. Great messages! We tried your hummus recipe with lemon and miso and ❤️ it in our Buddha & salad bowls. Thanks for sharing your inspiration and passion!
You have such beautiful knife skills. And I think that book you are reading is working. I always feel kindness and compassion from you in your videos. Keep doing what you love, and thank you for your continued hard work. ❤️❤️❤️
Also, I meant to mention if you love pickled veg, check out a recipe for chow chow if you don't already know what it is. Love it on my salads and sandwiches. :-)
Becca that's a lovely compliment, thank you! Never thought of myself as someone with good knife skills. 😊 Glad you feel that from seeing me in our videos, it'a what I strive to be. Both to myself and others. So that means a lot that you think so! Thanks for the pickle tip, never heard of it. Off to google it now! 🌼
Good Eatings I grew up eating chow chow in the southern United States, and it can easily be tailored to the veg you have available and/or grow. Often times I rotate between chow chow, sauerkraut and kimchi. Just to change up the condiments and keep my taste buds on their toes. I just stumbled across your channel and I love it! This video makes me want to pack my bags and move to the countryside and enjoy the peaceful slow life
Love, love, love your videos! So artistic, peaceful, calming, real, and beautiful. I liked that quote too, and all the food looked so delicious. Keep up the great work and keep being your wonderful self! :)
Wow!!! That garden!!!! Is that where you live? What kind of flowers are those yellow ones? I love how the birds sound while you were talking outside. What happens to all those plants and herbs in the winter? How do you get them to grow back every summer?
a while back we suggested that u enter these videos in some festivals you can go to film freeway and see what happens!!! thank u for such wonderful images...we loved the outdoor ones too!! also on a personal note if u have anxiety cutting out caffeine could help...

Daniela, I really admire people who can converse in more than one language! I wish that I had had more opportunity in elementary school to begin learning another language.
Hi Laura and thank you! Most of them are from second hand shops. The plates we eat from are from a Swedish homeware chain called Lagerhaus. Wish I could be more of assistance but my best tip is to go hunting at second hand stores and flea markets 😊
I am so jealous of your garden. Beautiful countryside. What are those fields of yellow? Also, not sure if you told us on a previous video, but what is the meaning of the triangle tattoo on your finger?
I love your style..beautifull..simple and humble😍😘 i am addicted to watch your video😍😘 with great recipe..your house..the view..everything is very peacefull and beautiful...i am not yet vegan..but i really interesting to be vegan🤗
Rodrigo Xavier da Silveira oh, that's a good question. As I blog I do think we spend a little more than we like so I can test recipes and keep a well stocked pantry. I will think about this, calculate and incorporate it in one of our upcoming videos! Thank you for your question 😊
Ryoko hi 😊 I just take that b12 spray you see in the video and in the winter I take a vegan D vitamin tablet since I live in such a dark and cloudy country during that season. When I feel a cold coming on I use echinacea drops. That's all! And a big variety of whole plant foods which gives me everything else I need. It's good to eat some sea vegetables for an extra boost of minerals but I'm sure you already know this 😊🌼
Anther comment. Malin, you really calmed me yeasteday night. No matter what happened, you calmed so I could sleep. It was the calm and joy You are apeking, joy from "petots choses" like book, small pumpking plante, the ride even not luxuous, by shitty car. it s the artistic side of our youtube vid. And especially, this music. Music. It heals, it calms. Pleas, I need to hear it to nourish my soul:-)pleas can you send me a link, where I can find this song (you are preparing for example dinner when it sounds). Thank You and Rob. Pleas, keep doing it. Pleas.
wow amazing place you live! which area is this? I decided to travel to Sweden this month ! I think your videos influenced me a lot. I'll be sure to visit some vegan restaurants you've recommended. It will be so cool if I can meet up with you but anyways looking forward to the next video!!
Akix0521 that's lovely, good for you! I live in the middle of Skåne in the countryside. Some nice places to visit if you want to venture away from the city is Stenshuvud where you can have a lovely walk on a rocky part by the ocean and also clime a big rock to have a great view. You could also visit Ales Stenar and then take a hike alongside the cliffs by the ocean there - it's really breath taking scenery there. I'm not sure when you're coming to Sweden but maybe we could organize a meet up. At the moment I'm abroad working though and unfortunately our car just broke as you saw in this video so it might be hard for me to go anywhere until I find a new one. Let me know though and we can see if there's a chance of a meet up! 😊
Hi Malin. I have been living in Korea for three years and I gotta say, your bibimbap looks amazing! Plus you included your own kimchi which us better than most Koreans can say these days. Well done! I hope you can come to Korea and taste the real thing for yourself. Korea is full of exciting veggies. I think you would especially like perilla leaves - cousin to mint with amazing flavor. Thanks for sharing!

Good Eatings ❤️❤️
Good Eatings I grew up eating chow chow in the southern United States, and it can easily be tailored to the veg you have available and/or grow. Often times I rotate between chow chow, sauerkraut and kimchi. Just to change up the condiments and keep my taste buds on their toes.
The kind I make can be water bathed in mason jars so that it is shelf stable as well. So, if you find yourself with lots of extra veg that go into it, make a huge batch and save some for later. :-)
Becca thanks so much for the tips! I must try it for sure 😊 And it's great that it works with different vegetables too 👍

Daniela, I really admire people who can converse in more than one language! I wish that I had had more opportunity in elementary school to begin learning another language.
Hey Malin:) Beautiful video, as always... I wanted to ask where your beautiful ceramic bowls and plates are from? Greetings from Germany:)
Hi Laura and thank you! Most of them are from second hand shops. The plates we eat from are from a Swedish homeware chain called Lagerhaus. Wish I could be more of assistance but my best tip is to go hunting at second hand stores and flea markets 😊
Thank you Lovely 😊
I am so jealous of your garden. Beautiful countryside. What are those fields of yellow? Also, not sure if you told us on a previous video, but what is the meaning of the triangle tattoo on your finger?

SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!
thank you :)
Dear I would like to know how much do you guys spend a month to eat.
Rodrigo Xavier da Silveira oh, that's a good question. As I blog I do think we spend a little more than we like so I can test recipes and keep a well stocked pantry. I will think about this, calculate and incorporate it in one of our upcoming videos! Thank you for your question 😊
hi!Malin.I wonder what kind of supplements do you usually take.
It's good to eat some sea vegetables for an extra boost of minerals but I'm sure you already know this 😊🌼
thank you:)
I love your channel. I’m new to being vegan and you are a great help.
yay, your back!
fat vegan 😊😊😊 yes!
I'm happy to tell you your plants are still alive! 💪😂 Pussåkram
Flo Nilsson yaaay! thank you 💜 tror det ska regna nu också så då slipper du vattna! 👍👍👍

Pleas.
I wish i live there..just like a little paradise🤗🤗😘😍

Do you live in Sweden??? It looks like it! and I thought I heard a Swedish (scandinavian) accent!! I love this video, it's so calming!
I wanna live there!
I want more, more, more..... 🙏🤗✨🇵🇹
You are so beautiful; not just your outside, but your spirit. The more I️ watch your videos the more beautiful you become.
I want that life!
❤️
wow amazing place you live! which area is this?
