Hey John, if you decide to fish here , launch from Red Dot. Now there really not an area to launch from the park, due to the reconstruction of the park
This was the first area I fished when I got my boat in the mid 90's. I use to launch my boat at that boat ramp when it was open. Great all around area for wade, kayaks and boats. the forgotten gem. All naval bases play the National Anthem at 0800 to raise the flag. I've been hearing it for over 25 yrs. Lots of good info on this video.
Thanks for all the info I don’t get a lot of time to fish but when I do this info really helps not have to guess on what is where and so I pray that we run into each other on the water but if not I invite you to church unlimited on a weekend and ask for brother Frank and get that picture in
I was at the ribbon cutting for the Grand Re-opening as I live just around the corner. I use to take my kids a few summers and when I was attempting to walk/jog etc it was on my route. Just got a rod and some misc and got my license online. (Hope I can use the receipt page I printed) as I hope to be out there for the Blood Moon Sunday night. Thanks for the info! Hope to see ya out there sometime. No kayak yet tho lol. I have a lot of learning to do. Have a great day and thanks again. Subscribed!
Hey thanks for sub Trevor. Yea you can use the print they will send a real one in the mail. You can also download the Outdoor Annual app on your phone and link it on there. Yea should be good out there on that full moon. And a nice view. Goodluck tomorrow and thanks for watching.
Excellent video bro. U mentioned some of those areas around boat hole has some deep spots. How much boat traffic goes thru there? Also, where can I get some tall wade fishing shoes. Waterproof. It's hard to launch kayaks without getting feet wet.
I have 2 pairs they last a few years and can be repaired with neoprene glue to last even longer. Wear socks cause your feet sweat and also use cedar chip bags to keep them fresh. Tight lines
I'm a freshwater angler looking to get into some coastal fishing and I love that you generously share your hotspots, and especially your detailed directions on getting to the launch. This is a great channel for us out-of-towners who aren't that familiar with the Corpus Christi area. I'm a recent subscriber but have watched most of your vids and take notes on my iPad. Keep 'em coming and thanks!
Yea man I saw a group of guys out there and that's all they caught flounder after flounder. Probably going out to Kate's or Wilson's tomorrow the weather is so nice

Not to much traffic. Besides you don't want to stay in the channel. The boots are NRS Boundry Boots. Amazon amzn.to/47yUnP6
Or Nrs.com
