I would have loved a little more detail on the jewelcrafting side of things here. Tips on how you calculate the cost of gemstones, if you buy ore to turn into crushed glass or just buy the glass from the AH and use the JC to get cheaper crushed gemstones.
Nice video, had a level 70 char waiting for a profession and I'm going to try alchemy + jewel, just got the artisan acuity shuffle from your last video, maybe can get a good start in the alchemy build from the 1700 AA I got, its good to know even if we start a profession "late" we def can see results in a near future.
If you have max spillover, enough skill to make r2 potions with r1 materials and blue tools you can't be out optimized by other peoples crafting stats, they will have the same. If you're putting Alch and JC on same character though it will be a long road even with shuffle.
@@Eyancraft yeah, I got a lvl 80 character with no professions, maybe put jewel on him, so i can benefit from the AA shuffle again and get 2 full professions
Thank you for details, always wastn sure about them. Even that i have Jewelcrafting, i dont have enough AA for blue tool (dont want to shufle coz of old progress) but the plan is set
I really appreciate these videos! They are very helpful as someone who was mainly a "crafter" last xpac, but is looking to get into shuffles. Just level the profession you want, eventually you'll be able to make R3 stuff efficiently and then you can do like 10mins a day for a bit and it'll add up. You don't have to rush getting there.

Are you a goblin? It's really hard to make gold in Alchemy if you are not, unless you're doing the entire process yourself like I do in this video. You make the vials, if profitable you turn r2 herbs into r3 with herbalism, and then you calculate your cost to craft. Also if your craftsim is telling you -20k but you don't have spillover buff up it will be wrong.
Thanks for making all these tips and tricks vid, I have to say ur vids are far the best and easiest to follow! Any chance u can make any gold making guide for enchanting too?
I do have an enchanter so possibly. Don't really have any good gold making tips for it though other than be a Blood Elf, which isn't something I want to suggest.
Yeah mate. Glass comes from prospecting, I have no idea where the best place to get ambers from is, my thaumaturgy, you only get them from prospecting if your not spec'd into it, but if you do that your losing gold.
is it viable to start now... seems like you need alot a KP and with how long catchup works by the time ive got the kp needed it may not be profitable anymore
Of course its fine to start now, the expansion is only a month old. You could start in S3 of the expansion and make gold. Just can't expect to be profitable in week one, but with time you will be. I don't know how long away S2 is but I'm gunna say you will be able to have a full Alch build for atleast a single flask/potion/phial by the start of S2 when demand will be the highest again easily if you start now.
In this video I just bought it, but I've been prospecting for it since I got the points. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uTJ4VjhEJcQArBpqRFT7rMQgUMJrM0J4WzNxhowmYrc this should work to find out if its profitable or not.
Yeah I bought them in this video sorry. R1 Ore gives the most, with Bismuth being higher than Aqirite/Ironclaw. But sometimes the Bismuth cost might not be worth it over doing the other two.
That's all you can be doing man, it takes time. I have a video on how to get all the one time stuff just incase you've missed something - ua-cam.com/video/07m48TcN6_I/v-deo.html
I've been making rank 2 tempered potions with cheaps mats (full artisans acuity shuffle, blue profession items etc) and the margins just arent there. Maybe a region thing but I got an extra 56 from multicraft on 40 crafts and only just broke even. How much are you tracking the AH for trends to make a profit?
Quite a lot, I don't really track the material prices but rather the Potion, when the potion is low it's because the cost to craft is down, so craft then and sell when the potion is back up higher. Generally it follows the same cycle each week but you can get caught out. However 40 crafts is a very very low number, you're not going to get good averages from that, especially if the first 10 crafts where without the full buff.
How do you have so many skill points to set? I am only at 145 skill points and I already did the treasures, the rep books, first time crafts and do Crafting Orders whenever there is a skill available. Am I missing something?
The Artisans Acuity books? If you get this weakaura wago.io/L7lpDrqUO it will tell you, ignore the patron order part thats the catchup but you cant do anything to get it all.
@@Eyancraft Damn, I did not know those books existed. Thats the ones I was missing! Sadly only got enough Acuity for 1 of the books, will take me a while to get the others :(
can the same char be jewelcrafter and alchemist or does it need to be on different chars because of something? havent really gotten into proffessions yet
Yeah ofcourse it can, the reason most people are splitting right now is because of how much AA stuff costs. So you want to funnel it all into one profession per toon really, if you split it your more behind if you get me. But if you want to take extra time farming out AA for two profs on one character theres nothing wrong with that.
In this video I bought it, but I've finished the Prospecting tree which I mentioned in the Vid so I've started doing that. I have a calculator here docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uTJ4VjhEJcQArBpqRFT7rMQgUMJrM0J4WzNxhowmYrc, it should be ok but I'll have to update it I've changed my personal one. On US though Prospecting alone is good gold right now.
is this assuming you have decent $ to start? as someone with one character and not a lot of gold i feel like its harder to start without a gathering prof. but im assuming jewelcrafting is needed to make all of this work?
Haven't been doing it recently because I've only really been doing stuff for vids, but thaumatury is always going to be pretty safe gph just because of how it works. I just plugged the numbers into my calc and I could get about 80k gph right now on Chitins. Thats with a max build and max craftspeed though. This was also r1->r1. If you are a Goblin or Kul'Tiran it will be more because with a max build you can do r1->r2.
Love youre videos. Clear and on point. Right now iam potion specced, with full 170points for tempered potion and 55 for potion mastery. Got blue tools. Right now iam missing 9 skill to craft r3 tempered potion with full r3 mats. i know i can get 5 more as goblin. But am i missing something? i can*t even make r3 healing potions with r3 mats. Is it just not possible to do so? Thx for your help
Nah you can do both without being a Goblin, go into CraftSim, at the top of the third row theres a thing called "Specialization Info" Click that button while on the Tempered Potion pattern, a box will come up and tell you what you are missing, scroll over them and see.
They're all good man chose what you want, I think Thauma is easiest and safest though, but don't have as high gold making potential as the other two, but they're much harder to make big gold on. My potion maker has made me the most gold this expansion, but I also have a JCer to pair with it. But it's alot of cancel scanning and buying materials at the correct time, Thauma is just fill sheet see what it says buy.
how much gold costs it to set up alchemy and jewclrafting to even do this what you are doing in the video? made 7 mio gold in bfa and never came back to making gold. now my gold is shrinking with this expansion and i want to start making some gold again. but i have no idea about this new crafting system. i dont even know how do i get all this skill points to learn this specializations?
All Blue Tools, 100 Skill, And every KP needed, for the kps needed go into craftsim go to tempered potions then select "specialization info" and it will tell you where you need to put the KP. If you're referring to the extra amount of skill it comes from being a Goblin which is +5.
So on my lock I wanted to do this, Would Alechemy and Jewelcrafting be the 2 Professions to get? I have a Miner/Herbalist which is my Druid and another Druid whos Skinning Herbalism
If you do this on the same character it will take awhile to get all the AA needed. But Alchemy takes ages anyway, so yeah it's fine to do, locks can also be KT and Goblins if you decide to go that way too which works out.
@@Eyancraft I’m new to profession gold making and everything. Never cared about them or anything tbh. So I actually don’t know what AA or KT is but what would you recommend for me to go on my goblin warlock? I'm guessing you're referring KT- as Kul Tiran? but I'm a horde only player so Goblin is what I chose
@@nidalee1trick Well Goblins better, If you're new honestly double gather for income while trying a prof you want for gold dump. Unfortunately margins are pretty tight so you sorta gotta have experience to know how to get gold with the specific prof and that just comes from doing it.
I know this is p obvious, but i've found a good method to do while waiting for alchemy points to build up. If you have any alts and can craft anything like prof equipment or armor just constantly post about you making it in trade chat. Like if you max prof gear (Which barely takes any time) You could make one for 5K per person if they provide mats.
Great guide, thanks :) Just wondering though, how long will it take to collect all those knowledge points (approximately) now that there's some catch up in as well?
Hey, I really really enjoy the videos and I am trying to get the same results as you. I took a kinda similar path for potions but not exactly the same. Still I am 100 Knowledge Points deep specced into it with full blue equipment and I am still missing almost 100 Skill to craft potions (e.g. tempered potion) rank 2 with rank 1 ingredients. And I just cant figure out why it is like that. Got any ideas?
Get craftsim if you don't have it, go to any potion in Alch then click "Specialization Info," There it will tell you what you need to put your KP into. If you scroll over those stats will come up and you will see where you are missing the skill from.
Need all blues across the board to get vials without using concentration so both accessories and tool (want both a resourcefulness and multicraft tool). For rank 3 crushed gemstones you would need the same thing if you are crushing for them and rank 3 bismuth x 10 per crush or can prospect rank 3 ironclaw/aquirite.
@@Eyancraft Yeah I occasionally prospect rank 3 aqirite but not the method I'd rely on for rank 3 dust. I'm chasing glittering glass and handful of pebbles when I'm prospecting dust is like third on the list and gems themselves is the least valuable item. Often I can get a stack of rank 3 aqirite for about 1k more than rank 1 or 2. So just need like 7 crushed gemstones from the prospects to justify the higher price. With that being said it's very low proc rate and the far more reliable method would be to crush.
Yeah if you're trying to do a public work order for them you can't add min rank quality. If you're not on the dominant faction of your server you can try making a character for the other and asking in that trade chat, otherwise just have to keep spamming. If you're in EU Mantheius has a crafters guild and you can do cross server crafts if you join that guild will probably be able to do it there.
Been working on them since the start of the expansion. But you can catchup a fair bit doing the things in these videos - ua-cam.com/video/_SVc6giN9jQ/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/uB0OYkD1Y5I/v-deo.html
I think the expensive it route is experiment until you get a flask and then craft that flask to max. www.wow-professions.com/profession-leveling-guides is a good site generally for cheap leveling guides Starter tip is Alchemy takes awhile before you're going to see a ROI, and it's a very hard market to be in. Concentration gives a good amount of gold so keep that on CD.
@@Sokka1892 On prospecting? Craftsim always says loss on that but it's wrong. Use a calculator, I have one here - docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uTJ4VjhEJcQArBpqRFT7rMQgUMJrM0J4WzNxhowmYrc, i need to update it, but it should be within range enough
Thaumaturgy is something thats going to be generally safe to make gold with if you use the calculator and have a max build with max resoursefulness. Flasks and potions will take a lot longer.
Mans got me making alts for more professions I never cared about and do a shuffle I said I’d only do once…. GG content sir. Any benefits to races other than Druid for herb/mine in your opinion?
Unfortunately I think so yes, Goblin Alch, Belf Enchanting, Nightborne Inscrip and I haven't looked into this one but I imagine with how many materials gems take it's going to be the same, Draenei and JC. With these races you can use some r2 materials on r3 crafts for bigger profits. Think it's going to end up being a kinda big deal which kinda sucks. You don't have to do the shuffle for JC, unless you're nearly at R3 for Alchemy you'll probably have enough time to do it normally, Alchemy takes ages.
@@Eyancraft I have the same talents maxed and everything, but my crushed gemstones aren't guaranteed rank 3 like yours even with rank 3 mats. Why not? EDIT: I noticed your skill is 307, but mine is 285 even though I have the same weapons, trees and everything in your video. I'm confused. Shouldn't everything be the same as yours?
@@SilentKME You must be missing skill somewhere if you can't with r3 bismuth. Go to crushing then on craftsim click "spec info" and it will tell you, if they're all maxed do you still have green tools?
@@Eyancraft thank you for response. I have CraftSim open now, I'm on Algari Crushing but I don't see "spec info" anywhere. Even under the control palen where it says Price Details, Top Gear, etc. I don't see it there either.
I don't skin man so I don't really have any idea sorry. What I will say though is I would never try to solo skin, you definitely want to join a 2x4 farm for it, or you're just losing gold. You could go enchanting aswell, spec into disenchanting greens to add some extra profit.
@@Eyancraft see the problem with that is they all want druids for the farm. From what I have found the gph is always 0 as you will be best using alts which are not on for a full hour thus its more make 100k in a day which can not math down. Now I wont give the direction for my farm but if you figure it out well its all you but I will say its more of a shuffle using 3 profs or more (not in equal numbers)
Hello. This is the third character made on 1700 AA/ If you can, please advise what configurations of abilities should be given to the characters. I have 3 ready-made characters for 1700 AA each. Additionally, one with a well-developed enchanting that earns money for the rest of the ideas and 1 character with BS, unfortunately, is not developed so I have to slowly accumulate AA. What skill pairs would you create?
Sometimes it do be like that, just have to either not craft/or wait it out to sell at another time. Occasionally if thats the case too I'll just chuck them up at the higher price and hope that demand out weighs supply so they sell.
lol spent like 120k to AA shuffle and level up Jewelcrafting for the vial thing. By the time I get it all set up like 8 hours later the profit margin drops to 1% (before GE tax).
I hate guides so much lmao, each one gives what they consider the best way to invest the skill points and now because I followed other "famous" guides, I don't have points to invest in your options, and I'm screwed.

I got a new goblin today, what spec should i go flasks, potions or thaumaturgy? (Be honest, i will try the market you suggest anyway)
@ thanks man, appreciate your videos and channel
How did you get all blue gear? Is worth priority blue gear instead Artisan acuity for KP?
Doesn't matter which way you do it really, KP books probably better, but you will have more than enough time to get both, Alchemy takes awhile.
@@Eyancraft ty the answer bro 💪🏻
how much gold costs it to set up alchemy and jewclrafting to even do this what you are doing in the video?
made 7 mio gold in bfa and never came back to making gold. now my gold is shrinking with this expansion and i want to start making some gold again.
but i have no idea about this new crafting system.
i dont even know how do i get all this skill points to learn this specializations?
I don't know because I didn't do it in a day been since expansion started, however ngl it's not that cheap.
how do you get to 386 skill with tempered potion?
For JC it's not that long at all if you have the rep and buy books. But Alchemy I'm still not done so more than a month. This is long term stuff.
@@Eyancraft Aye, presumed as much, which is fair enough, really. Thanks for the insight.
Do i need blue tools to guarantee gold quality crushed gemstones and phials?
Need all blues across the board to get vials without using concentration so both accessories and tool (want both a resourcefulness and multicraft tool). For rank 3 crushed gemstones you would need the same thing if you are crushing for them and rank 3 bismuth x 10 per crush or can prospect rank 3 ironclaw/aquirite.
Yeah this, except I think don't prospect R3 ore you'll lose gold.
How do i get the Blue tools? I cant select a item level in crafting order interface and no one is responding to me asking in trade chat for a crafter
Yeah if you're trying to do a public work order for them you can't add min rank quality. If you're not on the dominant faction of your server you can try making a character for the other and asking in that trade chat, otherwise just have to keep spamming. If you're in EU Mantheius has a crafters guild and you can do cross server crafts if you join that guild will probably be able to do it there.
how are you getting so much artisans acuity to make all blue Prof Equipment and buy all the extra points? i dont understand that
Been working on them since the start of the expansion. But you can catchup a fair bit doing the things in these videos - ua-cam.com/video/_SVc6giN9jQ/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/uB0OYkD1Y5I/v-deo.html
@@Eyancraft Thank you, sir
I am completely new to retail - havent played since MoP.
Is there any 1-100 alch guide you know of that is good or do you have any starter tips?
I think the expensive it route is experiment until you get a flask and then craft that flask to max. www.wow-professions.com/profession-leveling-guides is a good site generally for cheap leveling guides
Starter tip is Alchemy takes awhile before you're going to see a ROI, and it's a very hard market to be in. Concentration gives a good amount of gold so keep that on CD.
@@Eyancraft yes i looked on google and i decided to just get the points for extra long flasks and be Done there 😂
Love your UI, what addons are you using?
It's just bartender and masque with masque flat squares skin. Rest is default.
Are you crafting the Glittering Glass yourself by destroying ore or are you buying those from the AH?
I bought it in this video, but I've now started prospecting when its profitable.
@@Eyancraft From what point do you consider it profitable? My Craftsim basically always tells me I am making a pure loss (-157g R1, 170g R2).
How much gold is needed to get to this point?
Honestly I don't know but you don't need to rush either of them to level, just need to be getting KP's weekly.
I spend most of the day doing thaumaturgy because of you and now probably going to spend most of my day doing potions and flasks on my other alt T_T
Thaumaturgy is something thats going to be generally safe to make gold with if you use the calculator and have a max build with max resoursefulness. Flasks and potions will take a lot longer.
its requires tsm automation to squeeze some profit atm
It's certainly pretty bloody hard.
Thing is people non stop undercut in AH and then they undercut it so much that is better to buy then to make and sell
Yeah it's the same with Draenei and Gems, this 4 missing skill would be covered by the +5 racial -i.imgur.com/aGmspmK.jpeg
Hi. Is this still current?
The strategy yeah of course.
@@Eyancraft thanks
I don't see it there either.
so id like to here your thoughts on skinning as the upfront demands are pretty low
Now I wont give the direction for my farm but if you figure it out well its all you but I will say its more of a shuffle using 3 profs or more (not in equal numbers)
all this video has shown me is that crafting ha become way too complicated for people like me, lol.
Just make something you like man, except probably Engineering. Then spend time learning the ins and outs, thats where the golds at.
On my server cost to craft is 120g and tempered potions go for 100. Idk who is making these things and why
Sometimes it do be like that, just have to either not craft/or wait it out to sell at another time. Occasionally if thats the case too I'll just chuck them up at the higher price and hope that demand out weighs supply so they sell.
Note to viewers you need roughly 130 KP in each JC and Alch to do this
lol spent like 120k to AA shuffle and level up Jewelcrafting for the vial thing. By the time I get it all set up like 8 hours later the profit margin drops to 1% (before GE tax).
Prospecting -> Crushing -> Vials is 1% on EU? If so that's ridiculous.
*0.05 not 0.5 sir 🎉 maths🎉
Imagine 50% ah cut YIKES
omgosh this what happens when i dont proof watch multiple times :(
the 15k number i add is x0.05 atleast
I hate guides so much lmao, each one gives what they consider the best way to invest the skill points and now because I followed other "famous" guides, I don't have points to invest in your options, and I'm screwed.
So ... im making next char ... for AA than alchemy+jc :D
Alchemy is a very long road, be prepared for that.
@@Eyancraft i have time and patience ... be prepared for asking :D :D :D
Hey how do u get the Jewelers Purse and that blue tool???
Craft order system. You need to find someone who can make it for you. Alternatively for the bag if you have a tailor with 150 spare AA go buy the pattern on it and then make it for yourself.
