I understand with the new changes and its understandable, even with Sonic plush series done, I'll still stick around on your channel for new projects that your going do, but my guest is that your going to something Godzilla related or Mario plush related. I know this is common to hear quite a lot about the Sonic Plush series Gojira. But regarding that, to tell ya, this series was one of the key players to open me more into the Sonic franchise (although Sonic X giving more credit to) and I genuinely appreciate all the hard work you and your friends have given us from this series. It's truly made me look into the characters more, especially Tails. He's now my most followed character out of all of them and well...I have the '07 Sanei plush of him now in my hands. He's quite an important piece to me giving me the support I need even when I get down sometimes. Believe me, in this day and age, motivation has never been so hard to grasp since then. Also one last thing. I don't know if you remember me or not, but I remember replying about 2 or 3 years ago to one of your plush vids, and I still remember talking to you on discord for a tiny bit. I was very honored to be talking with the man himself at the time. I wonder where you are since I don't see you there on my friend's list anymore lol. But enough of that, soon I can experience some more wholesomeness from the next 2 episodes coming up. My best wishes to you and your future Gojira..have a good one ;)
I’m sorry to say this, but I sadly do not remember talking with you. And if I did, that was from a time where Sonic mattered at one point in my life. But after being cancelled, silenced and oppressed of my voice by the Sonic fanbase and Sonic Community on Twitter around April 2019, and even UA-cam with their implementation of COPPA on many of our Sonic videos starting on September 10th, 2020, to even the recent SonAmy 5 just less than a month after it was uploaded on August 12, 2021, I have begun to realize that I don’t belong in the realm of the Sonic series. Not only as something I thought I could see a career out of, not only as a place where I thought I was allowed to have creative freedom, but also the friendships I thought I could make through this series have pushed to a screaming halt. Sonic as a franchise is nothing short of a window. A glimmer of potential. A glass barrier that showed something I thought I could achieve like Jeff Fowler, Tee Lopes, Jim Sasso, and many others who found real success just for loving a blue hedgehog as much as I once did. But once I pushed open that window, pushed myself to belong, and began to be myself, instead of gaining respect, instead of gaining something more, I gained less respect, I lost friends, I lost my potential, I was kneeling to algorithmic form of oppression, and I was forced to make the same thing over and over to stay relevant. And I was forced to stay silent and let the people within the community destroy me for who I truly am. I believe that’s not something I should be limited to as a creator, as a filmmaker, as a human with real emotions. The only reason this show was a success wasn’t because of me. All I did was write, film, edit, and post it. It is the voice actors who are what made this series and I believe this series and its praise belong to them. Not to me anymore. At one point in time, I may have had a future with continuing Sonic content and maybe getting that big break on something big like writing the next Sonic game’s story, a Sonic feature film, an official Sonic short film, or even that Netflix Sonic series, but these career goals in the realm of Sonic has diminished. I appreciate how much you love the Sonic Plush series that was created on this channel. But I can no longer see this series as something I made anymore. Sonic Plush, and Sonic the Hedgehog in general, are not my passion anymore. If you have read all this, thank you.
