Regarding party size - we're a party of two, but I've found (consistently so) that different restaurants are easier to get if I book a table for three than for two. 50s Prime Time, for example, will have more availability for a party of three as opposed to a party of two. This is always. Year before, last year, this year; it doesn't matter. Sci-Fi is the exact opposite. There's also a difference in times available. So I book what I want/need then go in later to modify the reservation to the party size we have. It's always worked. The date & time won't be available on the website or the app for an original booking, but it'll be available on the website or app for a modification.
Thank you for your help. I finally got a reservation at Blue Bayou on Halloween by changing my party size from 2 to 3. I’ve been trying for days and like magic it just popped up. ❤❤❤

Space 220 lounge is our priority for next time. We had it booked last September, but a hurricane decided to ruin that particular day! Also beaches and cream and Hollywood brown derby will be priorities. Rose and crown, and via Napoli were relatively easy to get.
You'll need to link your Disney hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account and then the app will show your reservation. If you made your reservation initially on the Disney World website, it will automatically be linked.
