May this note find us all ever closer to God, and His Peace.
Thank you for making clear Catholic rejection of violence against Tyrants. Passive and pray is Just action.
    God Bless., Steve

In Belarus there is a Law to Tax a freeloader, meaning - they tax anyone who doesn't have a job. And the tax goes in to the payment for apartment where he live. They doubles or more payments for apartment.

How can you tax anyone who doesn't have a job?

@@tomekmieszkowski2849 they can. The reason is to make everyone get a job.

@@viktarsimanenkathis is not taxing in sensu stricto. The purpose of taxing is to redestribute income from tax payers to tax recipients. The tax payers are only people working in private sectors because they create real income. Tax recipients don't create any income but they live from the income of tax payers. If someone is jobless than he does not create any income so cannot pay any taxes. Even if we assume that he gets sort of unemployment or social security doesn't change anything because his so called "income" comes from the taxes taken from private sector and you cannot pay tax from the tax. If you double or tripple his apartament fee of course you can force him to take up a job but it won't be taxing him but real tax payers.if he decides to find a job it will be because his unemployment/SS decreased and not because he was taxed.

Just a thought, but if one is oppressed under the subjection of a tyrant by his injustice, well what obligation is there in remaining under any one king's particular subject, or any at all if there happens to be terra nullius? If then a whole nation were to universally cede from the allegiance of such a state, then you now have a tyrant ruling no one save for his unjust loyalists, at which point since now the land is not one's own but merely occupied by what would effectively be a new nation, the only clearly reasonable thing to do is leave-as opposed to just remaining patiently in passive resistance or risking subverting the authority of God by active resistance. Time to ignore the antarctic treaty of several sovereign states and plant a flag there to the chagrin and disappointment of the scientists and the UN.
