The GR3X is my first and currently only camera. It’s pretty nice. Been shopping around for Xpro2 or Xpro3 but dang these used prices are out of this world. Really wanting to pair some manual lenses with a Fuji. Might have to go with an XT1 or XT3, i dunno. Sorry for rambling… great video!
My generation grew up on fixed focal length Instamatics and Polaroids…so YES it definitely brings me back the basics I know (knew) from my photographic youth. I have the GRIII version, along with my SONY full-frame and APS-C gear and it’s as legit “a photographer’s camera” as those others. Good video.
That is awesome! Fixed focal lengths and primes have single-handedly taught me everything I know about composition and the frame. Curious to hear what are your favourite focal lengths, or fixed lengths! Thanks for sharing and for taking the time to watch the video, cheers!
Since you asked- I have the 28mm equiv version of the GRIII of course, and my SONY aps-c selection inc the popular Sigma 16 and 30 primes as well as TTArtisans 25mm mf lens (although the GR almost eliminates me using this much anymore) For my full frame SONY (my wildlife arsenal) my only prime is a Samyang 75mm which is an amazing lens I use primarily to shoot my grand daughter and the results are fantastic!
Great video, I got a GR III X a few months ago and had a GR II a while back, the 40mm focal length makes it much better for me. I do wish the video was usable on it too because it'd mean I can leave my bigger hybrid photo/video setup (S5 II X) at home and just use only the GR III X for both. The video actually looks deceptively good when you see it on the screen too (which along with the ND + IBIS, initially gave me hope for a future GR IV X having better video) but when you review it later you can see all the aliasing and poor AF. It does give a glimpse into it's potential though - I'd love to see it improved since it'd really take the crown as the best minimal hybrid setup.
Thanks for the upload. Really enjoyed the production value. I just subbed. Do you have any thoughts on a printer that you are using? I have been thinking about the Canon Selphy 1500 or similar for no fuss "good enough" prints.
1000% agree! Especially for people like me that shoot sooc, protecting the highlights and getting contrasty images can be tricky at times. It's a software feature, so I'm hoping it will come to Fuji cameras in the future... I hope.
I loved the XE-1 size when I reviewed it, pretty small and nimble, and the viewfinder is a huge plus for me. Are you shooting with it? Curious to hear your thoughts about it, or the Voigtlander lens, thanks for watching and for sharing! cheers 🙌🏼
I understand the type of presentation style you're trying to go for with the melodysheep music and the gxace style lighting and mood, but that really doesn't pair well with an information heavy delivery. I found it a little too jarring, just my 2 cents. Best of luck with your channel!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, iterations drive the learning curve, and it's impossible to iterate without attempting different things, even if said attempts do not succeed. Thanks for the constructive feedback, I'll keep it in mind for future videos, and I appreciate you taking the time to watch and share, cheers. 🙏🏼
Everyone is entitled to their opinions no matter how stupid they may be. I think the world would be a better place if most people didn’t share those stupid opinions. 😊
Agreed, I was pleasantly surprised about the sooc files, pleasant colours, and the simulations are pretty fun! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to share a comment, I appreciate it.

Really like how you put this together! Great breakdown of information. 👏

The day they put a pop-up viewfinder, this camera will be irresistible to be a second camera to my Fuji.

Works in -32 degrees also 😊 though battery will deplete super fast
Good to know! This winter has been very soft where I live, but usually, it gets to -35 to -40, so yeah, maybe next winter I'll give it a try 😂

Yup… Fuji needs to add highlight weighted metering to their firmware! Some Nikons have it, and the Ricoh, and it is amazing!

Great work Jorge!!
Thanks friend, i appreciate you watching and sharing 🙏🏼😁
Need the GR IV NOW! While everybody is paying attention to the X100VI
Get an xe4, a peak design micro clutch, the voightlander f2.8 18mm pancake lens. Stuff it in your pocket and go shoot!!

Yes the intro was a bit too long and too epic but other than that it's fine
Totally agree, it’s impossible to focus on what’s being said without getting confusingly distracted by the senseless background sounds

Different level of camera reviewer. ❤
Glad you think so! thanks for watching and for taking the time to share a comment as well! I appreciate it, friend! 🙌🏼✨
The GRIIIX and the X100VI are not worth the price they are asking for.

Ricoh gr the best image quality camera and the worst build quality camera.
I wouldn't say the worst build quality, but definitively needs some improvement, it kinda scratches very easily.
Beautiful image quality but terrible fragile build quality
