Janine is too pure soul for that world... No wonder she loses her sanity there... Still, she may actually be mentally stronger than all the others - when there's something really nasty going on, she has the ability to dissociate from that, trying to find at least some kind of beauty in that sick world. This ability is more powerful than the resistance - they basically cannot destroy her mentally... They would hurt her really deeply only if they hurt Charlotte, but that is the one thing they cannot do, as children are sacred there and Charlotte is not officially hers...
I hate how much abuse and excessive hardships she’s taken! Like come one even her son has to die? I want to see her have some luck in season 4. How about her and Charlotte manage to escape to Canada where they can live happily together and they give her a glass eye when she’s there
I love Janine. She fought to stay true to herself, she fought for her children, and she fought to survive. She will always be one of my favorite tv show characters. 🦋
There aren’t a crazy amount of videos of Janine, but this is amazing. Like why am I surprised anymore, everything you make is perfect. This is beautiful, and so damn emotional.
@@juleswithane8152 this is why the World of "Hand Maid's" tale is a wet dream for Manhating Lesbians and manhaters. I hardly believe the majority of Men would actually put up with the "Commanders". North Korea oppresses people by social, but no way could they get away with oppressing just women as a whole.
@@nodinitiative i think you ought to move to patriarchal societies like Saudi Arabia . Unfortunately, some men think women are less than men still even here in the west. But I do know that the men in my life wouldn’t stand for mistreatment of women. Any man who has a healthy and loving relationship with their mom, sister, daughter, aunt, grandma etc, wouldn’t tolerate any of these mistreatment in the show
That would be an interesting story line. Because I think with her mental state she’s have a really hard time adjusting back. She also has a real connection to Aunt Lydia which could cause problems.
1:38 I love how pure she is, blowing dandelions. I bet you guys that she wished for freedom and to be with her baby girl Charlotte for the rest of her life. I can't get over how tender and adorable it is when she says, "You're gonna have curly hair just like your mom." "I didn't do anything wrong. I just wanted to go with the baby." It's also cute when she says, "I'm a good pirate" and Aunt Lydia laughs at her.
All of her incarnations have left me scarred, awestruck and inspired. She will forever be associated with some of the most compelling moments onscreen.
Janine has endured the most and made the biggest impact on the coldest of hearts. She represents TRUE faith and not the bs Gilead prescribes. Her joy in the darkest of times is so inspiring. It annoyed me when the girls would roll their eyes at her. She managed in the best way. I pray she gets a happy ending🙏🏼
Madeline Brewer was amazing in OITNB as Tricia and is such an amazingly talented actress playing Janine. Such raw emotional portrayals. My heart just aches for Janine.
For some reason I love Janine the most.. She is perfect to me ♥️. I hate people who hurted/will hurt her. I hope she will be out of Gilead next season (with Charlotte) ❤️❤️❤️
janine breaks my heart she is such a sweetheart , when she is holding her baby after the little one was ill , she cured her with the love only a mother has for her child imo . She better get out of there with baby charlotte next season .
@@broadwaybrook2319 No I do mean Janine (Madeline Brewer) already announced we won't see Janine until the finale and fans won't be happy with her ending sadly.
@@broadwaybrook2319 you are still correcting me lol. Well okay I know that but Hannah doesn't get out either at least not for a long time she becomes an aunt in the books. So there's that chance Hannah won't get out.
This is just amazing! I imagine Janine being relatable to many quirky city girls. They get underestimated for being "too loud with no brains" when they're actually one of the strongest people out there
Janine is one of my favourite characters. I honestly believe she will find out the truth about what happened to her son Caleb and that will make a major deciding factor for her character - will she turn on June or Gilead? I really hope that she is able to get her daughter out safely and has some happiness for a change poor thing. 😔
Jules with an E Agreed. She has had it extremely tough in comparison to other characters. I definitely think she will find out the truth regarding her son’s death and that will make her snap or she will play a role in convincing Aunt Lydia to turn on Gilead seeing as Aunt Lydia has a soft spot for her. I get that feeling that Janine will play a major role after having so much sadness happen to her.
People associate kindness with weakness, even though time and time again there is no evidence that claim exists. Janine is a kind soul, who often gets labelled as weak and always stands up for herself. People are just surprised she's not bitter so to see her get upset is like watching puppy get mad. This is the problem with people making initial judgements. They don't understand that people are complex and can not be bitcy and still stand up for themselves. I believe Janine proves this true to June in season 4 when they escape together.

This the best edit about her she deserves everything

4:10 the baby says “big booty” 😂😂
lol that's true
Terribly sad story of a truly broken woman, deprived by force of everything she had, even her free spirit :(
😔
Been watching a lot of shows in my life but never has a fictional character gotten deeper into my mind than Janine.
I’m a “Jeanine“” and am inspired by Janine’s perseverance in relevance to my hardships. She is my guiding light.

please just get Janine out of here. i love her so much and can't stand seeing her suffer anymore
I'm sentimental about Janine. Feel really sad almost every time when I see her as she is so pure and Gilead has broken her deeply.
I love janine ❤️ this is such a nice edit, especially the end 💖💖💖
thank you! I love that scene, I cried so much
Me too 🥺🥺
this is beautiful, thank you for this omg.
No thank you ❤
Beautiful edit. I'm ready to see her get the hell out of Gilead, I can't watch yet another person beat her up.
True!!
i love her so much i'm so glad i found this ;w;

Ok...... I'm crying AS HELL
What's the name of the music in the background? It's so beautiful.
Aww shes so cute
What's the song that you used in the video,
Cows don't get married that got me
Poor Janine. 😒😔
