  • What does it take to run a small off grid farm in a forest? This is my slow living, food forest homestead life and I love it! Pigs, goats, chickens.. all of which contribute to the making of my garden soil.
Thanks for watching, New episodes weekly.

I can see you put a lot of work and love into growing!I hope gardening brings you as much joy as it brings me. b
It’s the start of my 3 year gardening but there is still so much for me to learn and I appreciate you sharing your food forest. It’s inspirational to me. I’d love the idea of a growing that way. I look forward to hopefully learning more from each other as we grow!

The animals certainly takes up a lot of my day. And the seasonal farm and gardening jobs like stacking wood, starting seeds, and making soil from the old hay and all the manure takes up a lot of my remaining time. ☺️ but I love it and wouldn’t want it any other way.

I love watching all of the animals! Why do you feed the goats separately on each logs?

I split up there food so it takes much longer for them to eat (often over an hour to find all the grain) which is good for their digestion. Also this way everyone has a fair chance.
