Thank You so much. I'm severely disabled but by a miracle I can ride my recumbent trike. The last 2 years covid fear has kept me off my trike and my health is worsening. My car has been out of service despite my paying thousands of dollars for work (exhausting everything I have since I am on social security of less than $1000 a month) which did not make it roadworthy. My neighbor, a California state certified mechanic, has had my car for 8 weeks and says he's fixing it. It's an old Mercedes wagon I bought specifically to fit 2 trikes in and on it. I'm praying he finishes before I have to get the sheriff's help to get it back. I long for and NEED to ride before I become unable to as I'm diabetic, immune compromised, asthmatic, and so far reasonably stable. After 14 years of extreme pain and only being able to use hand weights with my elbows on a table, I found I could ride and I went out screaming "Thank You God" as I rode the first time. Getting out of the prison my body had become was truly a miracle to me. I'm 66 and it is scaring me. Any prayers would be appreciated. Again, Thank You for your channel and your spirit, which helps me to hang on.
Great to follow along with you in the beautiful CA sunshine. Here in MN icebox I am enjoying your adventures while waiting for Spring. God bless, stay safe. Sheila
The sport of parasailing originated in the early 1960s, and since then it has been widely popular. By 1962, Lemoigne organized an Aeronautical Training Center intending to develop the glider parachute for proper training of the parachutists.
What a beautiful oceanside ride! I tend to be mesmerized by the ocean and all the water activities. The parasailing/motoring must have been something to witness. I've seen people parasailing off the end of a boat when at the Jersey shore. But I have never personally seen the motorized parasailing. Thank you for taking us along, Sylvia!
Awesome ride with spectacular scenery and beautiful weather. Soak up the beauty Sylvia. Thanks for sharing. Been very cold here in south Florida the past few nights…35-40. Was supposed to,fly home to New England for,a few days but that was nixed by the monster blizzard. Going home Thursday instead. Will ride my back up trike at home if the temp is over 30 and the trail has been cleared!
Nice... I've not been up to ride in Ventura for a long time but I did recognize a lot of the routes you took... and nice to see some of the improved routes that I have not been on before.
Thanks, Glenn! I'm headed to San Juan Capistrano in a few days and will be there for about a week. Maybe I can ride with the trike squadron too. It would be great to see you and the gang.
Hay, I just realized your within a 4h drive from me. And your last video (the last video I watched anyway) you where even closer. How can I find out where your next ride will be? I would love to join you. I don't have a fancy trike like most of your group does but it still would be awesome to ride with you.
That is a really good question. I’m usually quite far behind with my videos and have probably moved on many miles when you see them. I’m on my way to southern California and hope to ride with the Trike Squadron - we’ll see! Thanks for following along.
Just noticed the new title page with the trailer - sweet! Seems like the truck and trailer along with the upgrade to e-assist has really added to your versatility and sociability. You are getting to some great riding places and meeting a good sampling of the trike riding community. Are you going to make tracks to the SE and Midwest parts of the USA anytime this summer and Fall?
Thanks. Bruce! Yes, I’ll be heading along the northern US with 2 friends over the summer. After the recumbent retreat I want to go to Ohio for recumbent cycle con in October. Lots going on!!
Yes we enjoyed the ride in the comfort of our Queen size bed this morning, again thanks for sharing this ride with us. Happy Trails Sylvia🎶🎀😇
Happy trails, Paul! Thanks for following along!

Alright, Wolfbear! Keep on trikin'! I hope things turn around for you and am happy to hear that triking is bringing relief.

It was really cool to see the motorized parasailers.
Lovely beach side ride❤
Thank you!!
Ahh... I miss that part of California. Looks like they have really improved the paths along that section of the trail. Thanks for posting! Very cool!
Thank you, David!

Nice ride! Good to have cheery company too.
Yes, I concur! Recumbent riders are usually in good spirits and fun to ride with. I love meeting and riding with the cycling clubs.
Oh my... So beautiful! This was so lovely to see. We're just coming out of deep freeze in Toronto, Canada. What a difference. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much!!
Sylvia,
Nice ride and trail. Riding along the ocean for so long must have been great.

This visor is available at Tator TOT. My friend, Leslie, makes these visors and installs them on your helmet for free.
Sylvia, the visor on your helmet. Did you get it separately? If so how did you purchase lt?
You can only get that visor at Tater Tot. Leslie gives them away and installs them. Come to Tater Tot!!

Why do most bikers has these guts? You would think the exercising would help trim the fat.
Of all the things you could have commented on, people’s weight is what motivated you? Very interesting!
@@TravelsByTrike It is a question which sparks out of interest. How does exercising on a trike put on weight?
