For something different while we wait out the hiatus, here's Shortland Street's first wlw storyline from 1994.
Annie Flynn is played by Rebecca Hobbs.
Meredith Fleming is played by Stephanie Wilkins. Stephanie was one of the original cast members from 1992-1993 and she came back specifically to do this storyline.
Bonus plenty of Carmen (Theresa Healey), and Stephen Lovatt playing a bad guy corporate type and I'd forgotten just much Chris and Guy there is in this storyline.

And that's it for Annie and Meredith - it was the 90s after all! There's a five year gap until the next sapphic relationship on Shorty; although Caroline Buxton arrived at the hospital in 1995, we (and she) did not find out she was bisexual unitl 1999.
