The astronaut, to me, looks like he is feeling something on a very deep level. He's processing something that happened to him in his life, probably something terrible that happened. For a brief period of my life, I was able to sit with my problems like that. Just sit there and feel/process whatever I was going through at the time. I had such a clear picture of it, I could actually feel all the emotions that for years had been locked up and were just dying to escape. But then I trusted someone who didn't deserve my trust. They led me on, only to then choose their pride over me. It shattered me. I pushed the pain deep down to where I can no longer feel it, because I couldn't deal with it. And now I sit here, numb and empty inside, wondering how to call this pain to the surface so that I can finally deal with it so that I can heal and be whole again. But I don't know how. It's like I'm scared to go down into myself
