    This short video uses sound, color, imagery, and typography to exceptionally capture the feeling of being in Paris. The simplicity is refreshing in today’s age, remnindg me of a modern silent film where words are written rather than spoken. This is a wonderful tribute to a beautiful city and a beautiful language. Paris, tu me manques.

    @rowmosapien - At EF Paris you can only study French and at EF Sydney / EF Brisbane you can only study English. Sorry you had trouble finding information, and it actually even took me some time to figure this one out. Australia is a bit of a special case but you can see the online brochure at EF dot com/ils/e-brochure/?mc=ww and then you can enroll by contacting EF Dubai at phone +97144462510 or email ef.admissions@ef.com - Bonne chance! @ktiger27 - You can come any time of the year. You can start every other Monday and stay for as long as you'd like, from 2 weeks to 52 weeks. We always welcome students 16-18 but in the winter we don't have so many so you may be mixed together 16-24 years old. There are lots of people 17-20 so I'm sure you will feel it's OK. Check out the photos on the EF Paris Facebook page you can see that there are quite a lot of young people (and the pictures were taken in Jan). A bientôt! Matt @EF

    @ktiger27 - EF Paris offers separate classes for 3 different age groups: 16-18 (high school students), 18-24 (university age) and 25+ (mainly professionals). The adults study in separate classes but the common areas are ...common ;-) EF Paris just moved to a new location closer to the Opera and Galeries Lafayette, you can see photos on the EF Paris Facebook page (Facebook dot com /EFParis). Good luck! Matt @EF UA-cam Team

    @AntmILoveYou - I meant that you should contact your nearest EF office who can help you with your questions, and since you live in Colombia you can contact EF Colombia - they can help you arrange your course in Vancouver. The Vancouver residences are in separate buildings not in the school building. One is maybe 10 minutes away and the other is further. You can walk around freely after class.

  • @eflivethelanguage
    @eflivethelanguage  13 років тому

    @AntmILoveYou - Hi Carlos, EF Vancouver offers both host families and 2 different dorms, so you can choose. As for independence normally you are independent at EF Vancouver but EF Colombia also organizes group departures - call EF Colombia to get personal advice, the phone number is listed on the main page of EF's UA-cam channel (it's +57 1 616 1130). You can also visit EF Colombia on Facebook at ...book. com/ EFColombia or visit EF Vancouver at ...book. com/ EFVancouver Best Matt, EF

    Hello Erika, thanks for pointing this one out. Actually we have seen a LOT of copycat videos the last 2 years. At least it's nice to see that people like our concept. Regarding the Palermo video, it's obviously inspired by EF, but legally we can't do anything. It's not possible to copyright an IDEA, the idea behind the video. They have copied a little bit the photography style, a little bit the music, the "flares" (look like burning film), but mainly they copied the IDEA. Have a great day Erika!

EF has French schools in Paris & Nice, Spanish schools in Spain, Ecuador and Costa Rica, a German school in Munich, an Italian school in Rome and a Chinese school in Beijing. EF also has schools in England & Australia but they teach English so it's not for you if you're American. You can read more at EF dot com /centers .
    Also you can call our office in Boston on 1-800-992-1892 where Jason and Alisa will give you advice or send you a free brochure. Best Matt @EF

    @sakura9624 You could apply a lot of those things to many European cities. If you're earning in euros then things don't seem as bad as when you're earning in US dollars and converting. As for the "africans and middle easterners", what bearing does that have?! There are also many British and Swiss people there.

    @xXPurpleLoliTranceXx ... stuck up city... are you talking about London or what ? In Paris normal people are only rude if you address them like an average anglo-saxon tourist not giving a shit about the french language and not even trying. In Paris men and women are free to flirt with each other, women have that sexy natural looks and people don't all look like hipsters. It's the real ultimate beautiful-chic city and that's why everyone in the world loves it. Unbeatable.

  • @bennyfromthe72
    @bennyfromthe72 12 років тому

    @sakura9624 You obviously don't know how it is... If you buy two éclairs 13 euros you're a lost tourist^^ Paris is filled with wonderful and simple, elegant bakeries and you had to go to a luxurious one in the center... while in most of them an éclair would be 2 euros, a baguette 80 cents... As for african people they are mostly in some northern district especially 18th and 19th (not talking about suburbs), but it's such a cosmopolitan and open city contrarily as you may think...

  • @sakura9624
    @sakura9624 12 років тому

    @xXPurpleLoliTranceXx it's true. what they don't show you is how many africans and middle easterners inhabit in Paris, and how sketchy it can be. Pickpockets are common, and everyone has his/her hand over their belongings at all times. the people are nice enough, but the expenses here are ridiculous. to pay almost 13 bucks for 2 eclairs is a bit of a stretch. overall, it is a beautiful city, but i really wish that people can see how it really is.

  • @Cleymx3
    @Cleymx3 12 років тому

    Of course you're not going to do exactly the same than in the video. But about the macarons, the little restaurant, the monumen you can visit, the eiffel tower in the night, the "marché", the bakery with this famous "croissants" and "pain aux chocolat", etc... THAT'S TRUE! obviously it's not going to be the same colours like in the video and not that quiet but you actually can do all of these things and really enjoy your trip. Paris is wonderful. :)

    French shouldn't be overly expensive to learn, you can take free classes online through a lot of Canadian schools. Just be aware that we pronounce things very differently, the language gap is a fair bit bigger than American and British English, if you know any Portuguese it's similar to the gap between Brazilian and European Portuguese. The hardest part about learning French as a Spanish speaker for you will probably just finding time, the vocab and grammar are extremely similar.

    ABSOLUTELY TRUE!
    I find that the trick is to look and act absolutely helpless and to jump up and down with joy every time they do something for you.
    Eventually, they feel sorry for you, and actually help you out.

    Mon dieu.. I will definitely go there someday and eat snails, flirt with beautiful french men.
