Neither does Ryan difference is Bill is terrible in the corner, he gave zero advice on adjustments to make against Ryan. Go back to the Loma fight and there’s a round where Bill is giving Devin advice and Devin tells him “it’s not working, he sees what I’m doing”.
Derrick James, though not the greatest, was an actual fighter. There’s things that he sees his fighter doing that Bill just doesn’t. I agree with Floyd that Devin needs another man in his corner, don’t get rid of Bill but get a second eye in the corner and a defensive coach in camp. They had zero preparation for the lead hook. Devins counter against the hook was either 1. Eat it and get rocked or 2. Duck it and proceed to clinch. He should of been trying to block and roll with Ryan’s hook since it was obviously too fast for him to parry or after ducking Ryan’s hook pivot to the outside and attack the body

So if Haney stays on his feet he wins the fight and if they were the same weight Haney would have at least stayed on his feet.
