It was an era where you'd take what you got I guess! When my neighbour got Sky I was so jealous of the amount of choice he had. In hindsight, we watched a lot of dross across all Sky channels just because the novelty of having new stuff to watch was so high. It all probably looks a lot more dull and old fashioned with the passing of time.

In Australia we had FOX Soap & FOX Travel
Doesn't surprise me. Both Fox in Australia and Sky in the UK were owned by Rupert Murdoch at the time.
