Rx Ballroom Dance Student Spotlight: Steve Greenspan

Listen as Steve describes his journey in his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease and how his love of dance was not going to slow him down. Like other patients who have been diagnosed with a life changing disease, many are left to wonder if there is a place for them in the dance world. Most ballroom dance classes move a bit too quickly, and disregard someone who might be older or disabled. When Steve found the Rx Ballroom Dance program he was thrilled. As someone who still stays active and never wanted to stop dancing, he found a home and a sense of community amongst the members of the McCann Dance Oceanside ballroom class in San Diego, CA. Steve is thrilled to perform and has never given up on his love of dance.
