    I'm trying to make a bench out of repurposed skid planks and was trying to figure out why my butt joints on the legs were crooked. This helped me so much! Thank you. I'm very new to this but loving it so far

    Thank you thank u. Its about time because im not trying to turn my garage into a woodwork shop and be a craftsman... I just want to reinforce one shoe stand and make it a entry bench

    Yeah man, you gotta put measurements in there.. and you didn’t even show how you attach the top bench part to the legs.🤷🏼

    What were the measurements on the legs in cm? =)

    Nice!
    How much would you sell it for or charge a client to build that exact one?

    Thank you for sharing.
    If You're really willing to share, THEN you need to share the measurements of your project. 😮🤔😠👎

    Simple yes, for the guy who has all the tools for accurate cutting and clamping.

      @@AaronGeller Could you see the average DIY enthusiast making a 'simple' bench to the same quality without all those tools ?

    • @AaronGeller
      @AaronGeller Рік тому

      @@Kirkee7 the creator never said this was for the poor DIYer but still, he used on a table saw, miter saw, and drill. For a Ryobi table saw, miter saw, and drill, it’s less than $500. Wood working isn’t cheap but less than $500 to use the tools he uses… well, it seems you haven’t taken the time to consider what you’ve written because you’d realize a DIYer with limited resources with the same skill set could totally afford those tools.

    I'm building a very similar bench foe my kitchen. Did the 2x12 show bowing over time?

    • @arayawoodworks
      @arayawoodworks  2 роки тому

      No, the bench is holding on great. I did have the wood drying in my shop for a while before building this bench

  • @JunoXL

    Can I delete the rod underneath the bench to make room for baskets?

    • @arayawoodworks

      Maybe. That pieces provides stability so the beach does not rack. If you remove it, you might still need to add some sort of cross support.

    Would've been nice to be able to read the printed measurements as opposed to trying to squint to be able to read the measuring tape throughout a video that's not in real time! 🙄
