Hi, kekekorea, To start off, thank you for your valuable input. I believe that animal testing for cosmetics is required by law only if the the cosmetics are physically imported and sold in China. According to chinabizlawyers.com/2019/10/china-ends-cosmetic-animal-testing-from-1st-of-january-2020/ "Any cosmetic brought in China via a foreign e-commerce website - has never required animal testing." Apparently at the moment, Dear Dahlia and A'pieu do not have physical stores in China, so we can safely believe that the products are cruelty-free as advertised. In the case of Innisfree, although it does indeed have over 500 stores in China, I was unable to find the two products: [veggie water toning ampoule] & [simple label tinted moisturizer] I mentioned on their China Web store. Assuming that the web store would carry all the products sold in their physical store, and the fact they are not there, I would trust that those 2 products are indeed Cruelty-Free as they have also attained the Eve-Vegan certification. All in all, thank you for pointing out the issue with China's rule, which led me to do some further digging into Vegan products and the Chinese market, hopefully we'll see that China officially allow physical sales of foreign cruelty-free products as well in the near future. ❤️❤️❤️
JOOHKY yes that's right, I know innisfree has shops in the mainland...I believe a'pieu does as well but I'm not sure! sad, innisfree has such nice products TT
thank you so much for this video!! Can I also ask where you got your nails done?im going to Korea next month and want to get my nails done I a cruelty free ship there but can’t find anything on the internet
Hi, Thank you very much for the comment. I always do my own nails, so I wouldn't be able to give you any recommendation on nail shops unfortunately. I do hope you have fun in Korea ^_^.
While I do know that they do carry Vegan friendly products, I am not sure if the whole line itself is vegan friendly. As the Good Cera Lip Oil Stick does not have the Vegan Product label attached to it, I highly doubt it.
Hi welxssl, it's me Heiley! ❤️ Personally, I think that ISNTREE is a decent brand that uses good ingredients and provide good effects. Their prices are also on the affordable side.
Hi, which product are you referring to exactly? The skin care product? or the Makeup Base? The skin care product is decent for oily skin, The makeup base can feel slightly oily for those on oily skin.
@@Eliza-ex4rn haha, we try to reply to everyone if we can. My English is limited, so I can only wait for when Aego is free to have her translate for me >.

Hi Natasha, so far from my research, I believe A'pieu is Cruelty-free as a brand, as I haven't been able to find any information about them having a physical store in China (the only country that requires animal testing on foreign import cosmetics being physically sold in-stores), but I cannot say for sure. In all honesty, it would be best to contact A'pieu for a more accurate answer, but I have been told by others as well that they comply with the Korean Law and are Cruelty-free. Unfortunately. at the moment, that is the extent of my knowledge, but I am trying to research this myself as well.
Hi, only Dear Dahlia is completely cruelty free. As for innisfree and A'pieu, the brand itself isn't cruelty free, but they claim that these products/lines themselves are.
@@JOOHKY products outside of china will be tested differently, I think it is appropriate to buy them outside of china. the composition is vegan and a product bought outside of China will be vegan too. what do you think? thanks for the answer and for the video !!:)
@@evstea I would also believe that would be the case. I also found out that even if certain products are sold in China, as long as they are not sold in a physical store, they do not need to follow the animal testing rules. So if a company were to only sell their products via the internet without a physical store, their is no need to do animal testing.
@@JOOHKY dear JOOHKY, the product in separate can not be cruelty free. Since, innisfree is exported to mainland China it is not cruelty-free. Unfortunately, the fact that many amazing Korean brands choose to export to mainland China automatically makes them unethical brands. So, no matter how vegan vegan the exact product is it is still an unethical product. Have a nice day :)
Hi Reina, I'm sorry if you found the title confusing, but the title mentions Cosmetics and not Brands. Though Innisfree is not completely cruelty free, I believe they do have certain products that are cruelty free, such as the product mentioned in this video.
@@JOOHKY sorry didn't mean to be rude here... Since Innisfree sells in mainland China, aren't ALL their products tested since China is being paid for the testing?

Innisfree is not cruelty-free, just because it's not tested in Korea doesn't make the company (as a whole) worthwhile to support, in my opinion.
I love the focus on Vegan and Cruelty Free cosmetics!! the world needs more of that!
Thank you, I also hope that we'll be seeing more amazing Vegan and Cruelty Free products from this year on ~ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
It's kinda difficult to find Korean beauty products that are cruelty free. So, thank you so much for making a video like this!

this is a wonderful idea, but many of these brands sell in china where animal testing is required by law :( so they are not fully cruelty-free.
