I give a nod to horse as a support as well. Their ability to multiply mined resources by yielding 2 units to an ally for every 1 unit traded can massively increase your teams total yield of these critical resources and make sure your teammates have exactly what they need when they need it. Also you forgot to mention how amazing raven is at scouting, which to be fair you mention in any video you play them...but they are S+ tier scouts.
yeah they definitely shouldn't be underestimated as supports too and raven is of course the best scouting clan in Northgard. Pretty weird that i forgot to mention it indeed :D
@@CrazyDentist I thought so as well considering Raven is my main and I have watched you play a lot of it and you always mention it. Was waiting for my bird Bois to get a nod and then you moved on. Lol 😂. Fyi your fast boar relic strategy I watched recently worked out very well for me as well in a recent game. Good stuff.
You briefly mentioned it implicitely with clans needing to fulfil multiple roles sometimes, but i think its worth formulating the sixth role explicitely: The carry Role It is the role where all your teammates expect you to fulfill all 5 roles simultaneously, while providing little to nothing themselves. Usually this role is best performed by eco clans, which makes them lose a lot of tempo, but making them the MVP on their team as well. It is worth noting that this role is not really a thing in higher elo games, but can definetely be encountered in low elo games :D
Hey ! Thanks for this video. I'm a begginer and is it possible to know wich clan is build for wich rôle please ? I think Raven is scout, Goat a support and Wolf a cleaner, but for other it's a little bit difficulte for me :)
If you ever see this comment and have the time, can you please expand on the word "eco clan" a little? What do you mean when you say eco clan? Thanks in advance!
Bear clan is B tier clear clan due to bear. They can do it but it's not very effecient and they don't get free stuff for it. What makes it ok for them is they get free healing on bear at fish tiles. If you rush the bear and early Chief and a few early military lore techs you can clear reasonably fast and start pressuring undefended tiles or set up in your own for the eco boosts they give later in the game. They are also very strong defenders, and ok aggressors in the early mid game, but fall off late game in my experience. You need to apply pressure at the right times. Engaging in winter time when enemy lacks winter coats for example really helps your military dominance. It may also be more beneficial than other clans to run with a variety of units vs specializing only in shields. A mix of shields axes and warriors may work better.
maybe add a list in the description about what clans are best suited for each role?

Your videos are awesome. Just getting into Northgard. EASY SUB
Glad you feel so and thanks a bunch! :)
@@CrazyDentist After all your vídeos to learn This awesome game!
Tutorials even After 4/5 years they updated few mechanics and still relevant for sure
you forgot to mention the category that unfortunately only has the wolf clan in it, which is 'the best clan'
they were thinking of just renaming it to that, so i'm gonna wait out in case that actually happens.

Can you do an updated video with the new clans

Economy. So you want to be going for stone and iron ideally. Basically focus on upgrading :)
@@ValravnPrince Ohhhh!! Thank you so much! I need to watch this video again
Yeah a clan that wants to get a strong economy by upgrading buildings, getting a lot of villagers and production in general :P
What is the other name for the pressure clan? Can you tell us through a comment, or through a link to a forum post somewhere?
I don't think that this is important in any way, since everyone will know what you mean with pressure clan, but some might call it "harass clan"
@@CrazyDentist I don't think harass is a bad word, but I understand the concern. Thanks for answering
@@CrazyDentist lol all that build up for the word harass?
@@CrazyDentist lol harass is not a problematic word in any way
