The captain told everyone to stay put ("it's a red light"), then he and his crew left for rescue boats meant for the over 400 passengers (around 340 being high school students and many others being elderlies and small children) who drowned because of his orders. The lost souls were "wanting and waiting for the green light" (aka the cost guard and the government to save them. Or even for other orders.), but they never came. The green light never came. The only ones who made it out, were the ones who didn't listen. About 175 survivors out of around 400 passengers, only 75 being the high school kids. They never made it out, F(X) made this song for them as a tribute.
