For the 2nd time in China, we present to you Sri Jagannath Ratha Yatra on the streets of China! Prabhupadaungas devotees from China organised a grand festival in cooperation with devotees from Sri Krishna Mandir Singapore.
Seated majestically on a beautifully decorated chariot, Their Lordships, Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra bestowed Their limitless mercy upon the people of Zhongshan, Guangzhou. The procession was also accompanied by a roaring Kirtan led by Singapore devotees with masses of people chanting and dancing to the Hare Krishna Maha mantra. Free Prasadam packets were also given out to the eager onlookers.
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu predicted 500 years ago that "In every town and village, the chanting of the Holy Names of Lord Sri Krishna will be heard," and His words cannot go wrong. This is indeed another historical moment for the Hare Krishna movement in China.
To render transcendental service unto God is to serve everything that be, just like to water the root of the tree is to water the different branches and numerous leaves of the tree or to supply food to the stomach is to vitalize all the senses and the sense organs of the body.~Srila Prabhupada.
