One of the best edits I’ve ever seen. I love seeing the empire as a competent military and not just cocky and incapable. Of course governments and military’s make mistakes, that’s how Star Wars should show the empire. Disney just wants to keep Star Wars in a sort of understanding for children and have them tripping over their own feet every second. Rouge one and Andor are exactly what everyone wants to see the empire as.
Yeah but they can’t because they’re being political about it. They want the Empire to represent “evil right wing Americans” and the New Republic to be the “Liberals”. So they can’t show them as good otherwise they cede that politics aren’t black and white.
Andor and Rogue One tried, but Filoni is desperately trying to make the Empire weirdly all loyalists "HAIL THE EMPIRE" *blows self up* like Filoni bro relax.

@@Operador2281 For the same reason he allowed storys like Luuke, Lukes evil twin/ Skippy the force sensible droid and Mara Jade, he didnt consider anything in Legends to be the canon story. His 6 movies and the clone wars TV series was what he considered canon, the rest was organized into different tiers of „how canon“ something was, but nothing of it was the true canon.
