Wow, what an intense recovery! I can't believe how smoothly the team managed to get the tow truck back on track. Kudos to everyone involved-it must have taken a lot of skill and precision. Videos like this really give you an appreciation for the tough work tow truck operators do every day.
I absolutely agree 💯 percent. This was by far the most technical recovery that my company has ever had. We have had one that paid more however this one was a little more challenging. Mostly because I was In a crunch for time. Typically police calls roadside are somewhat controlled by the officers willingness to comply with the operators needs. This officer was very cooperative with my requests to block 2 lanes to allow us the perpendicular set up needed for me to be able to roll my bed over the top of the gaurd rail. Typically the officers have the final word regarding the lane blockages so off camera I always go and talk to the officer or sherrif supervising the scene and introduce myself and ask them exactly what they're comfortable with regarding access and safety procedures. Most times we're only allowed to operate from the shoulder making things more difficult and dangerous, however this officer was very compliant with all of my requests. The one thing the officer asked was that we try to hurry because of the location we were working. This was a 30 minute recovery from start to finish. I am happy to see you are watching my videos and especially seeing you're comment. I am working a " set " 30 second long advertisement to include in every video however because I want it to be as professional and informative as possible I am taking my time creating it. Also I don't have access to my gopro currently so I'm struggling a little with its absence. I have the video already of the new chains being used and it's currently being edited so I appreciate your patience in this matter. That looks like fun. That ol Hino sure is a good worker. My c5500 is down right now, been almost a month. Very depressing. God willing I'm back on the road for summer, saving my pennies for a 2nd truck. I won't hesitate tho if I come across an older japanese rollback that's for sure. Good stuff as usual brother!

@@darronmalonetowingchannel tranny went down on me. Was talked into a rebuild that's turned out to be a waste of time and $. Figured I'd use the replacement cost towards a new truck then double back by end of summer. Learned that a backup is necessary, 1 truck is too close to no truck.

Shout to Cadence for filming that for you 🙌 but i am curious how you got your truck into position exactly and how much messing around with the snatch block did ya have to do? Thanks for commenting. So when I pulled up initially it was on the shoulder. No lanes blocked. I went to the cobb county police officer and asked him how many lanes can I have he said 2. So I knew immediately I could get it with my rollback. I went and looked at exactly what I needed to do talked with the plan to the gentleman in the video told the officer my plan he said 👍. Then I asked for the officers to block my lanes and it took a bit of back and forth however we got the right ang by rolling my bed back to allow my bed to be close to a post because I had to anchor my truck against the post so the wedged Ford would come loose without dragging my truck in with it. 1 hook up with the snatch block once the truck broke loose and turned I got a gentleman on scene who wrecked it steer it up the truck as much a 1 tire can turn. 30 minutes on scene it was on the truck. I absolutely appreciate you watching my videos brother. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions thanks bro.
