I think this foundation color is a perfect match on you if you want 🫒 ? Who else thinks this or am I wrong lol it’s really green. It dries darker so idk. I think it looked pretty olive on and blended with the neck alright
I’m so relieved Tara mentioned the CT powder being too heavy. Everyone recommends it and I absolutely cannot make it work! It’s so heavy on me no matter how little I use and then the 20 year olds at Sephora always just tell me I applied too much lol. Tara confirms I’m not nuts! 😂 I own the HG but haven’t given it a fair shot yet. I’ve used it to touch up with my own powder puff and it looks gorgeous so far! I’ll have to give it a good wear test !
Same, I thought I was the only one who thought the CT powder was heavy! I also find that it kind of darkens my makeup a little, especially if I use it to touch-up midday and the powder mixes with the oils in my skin. What's funny is the power of hype is so strong that I keep trying to make the CT powder work, thinking that it must be my user error. Maybe now I'm free to just throw it out!
I agree, I have oily skin with larger pores and the CT powder settles into every pore making me look like a spotty mess! No other powder does this, I love the HG loose powder, and all their finishing powders are the best of the best for me. I actually think the basic Flower powder is better than CT! And only about $5

Hi Tara. I know you were vacationing, so extra sun. See if a strong antioxidant under spf would work for helping to keep pigment at bay. Resveratrol and Ferulic is great and can enhance spf in studies and there are others of course. ☀️ visit again soon.

I actually attempted to French braid my hair myself, that didn't work 🤪 So while it was halfway dry, I split it in a bunch of sections and braided it in loose braids. Slept on it, then used a bunch of that Aussie Hair spray scrunch (from high school) and scrunched it with my hands. I also curled a few pieces around my face with a smaller Wand Curling Iron. ❤️

Try the Altruist sunscreen. It’s the only thing that has stopped my hyperpigmentation from coming back out! Whenever I go away it’s literally all I will use! I use others at home because the UK is crap weather most of the time and I work inside without windows a majority of the time with a full face of makeup too! But whenever I’m in the sun or abroad I swear by this stuff! My gp and dermatologist recommended it to me because if my melasma and hyperpigmentation and it’s amazing on me. I’m Normal with occasional dryness in the winter because I use tret but this works wonders on my skin and many other people I’ve recommended it to including oily skin types.

So Pretty! I’m so happy you’re back. I love and missed your content. I think Natasha Denona knocked it out of the park with the Golden palette. It’s the perfect “I Need A Nude” for my complexion. The gold tones appear more neutral on my complexion, and i don’t have anything like that in my collection. I am also loving the Makeup by Mario contour and Hourglass powder, too. I haven’t tried the Fenty foundation, but I have started using her skin tint again, and I love how natural it looks. I guess I’m more of a skin tint fan. I haven’t tried the Kosas blush. I swatched a few shades in store, but I think I will wait until they increase their shade range. Their shades are a tad chalky on me🤷🏽♀️. Anyway, my favorite product this year (so far) is the Armani bronzer. It has the perfect amount of glow. Great post! Love ya!
I usually wear the same shades in foundation as you and I got a sample of that Fenty foundation in shade 315. It's a little dark but I really like the tone of it. I find I have a hard time finding a good shade in Fenty products, the shades are always off for me. Yes please do more looks with the Natasha Golden palette! I am really liking mine, but I will say the matte browns are different than I thought, the one is almost like green??
Are you going to try the liquid foundation from Patrick Ta foundation? People seems to be hyping it up but it looks so oily ?? Every video I’ve watched seems like people top it off with powder. Curious to see what you think if you try it.

I’m the same with clothes. Unless it’s teeshirts that get all sweaty il just hang it back up, because washing your clothes too often ruins them. Plus with all my husbands work clothes and teeshirts and my daughters clothes, I don’t want to create more work for myself 😫😀
I don’t know if it’s just me but I bought two Golden palettes and mine are both super light and olive toned. I’ve been so excited for it because it’s the only palette from her that I can wear more than 2-3 shades so I’ve only ever bought the minis. Teak is no where near the depth I see in videos and swatches and it’s essentially the reason I bought the palette. These shades barely show up on me because they are so much lighter than I expected and they are so much more olive toned in real life than they are in every video and photo I’ve seen. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m curious if it’s less pigmented than others expected too.

I hate washing stuff that doesn’t need it like socks and underwear and bras. It breaks down the fibers and there’s No point in washing every time! I also never wash my jeans unless I wanna shrink or if they’re stained

Hyperpigmentation can also react with just heat even though you are covered in sunscreen - so annoying😬
