About Christy Carlson Romano:
Christy has been a working actress and singer since she was 6 years old. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 14 to star in the Disney Channel franchise, Even Stevens as Ren Stevens alongside Shia LaBeouf. Christy enjoyed many years with Disney gaining an Emmy nomination for her voice work as Kim Possible and starring on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast. She went on to balance her college career at Barnard College, Columbia University with filming movies for ABC Family including: ‘Campus Confidential’, ‘Taking Five’, ‘The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold’, and ‘The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream’. Christy returned to Broadway in her mid twenties and learned to puppeteer in the Tony-Award winning ‘Avenue Q’. Christy was married to her husband on New Years Eve , 2013 in Banff, Canada after having met in a screenwriting class in college. She became impassioned with directing and made her debut in Lionsgate’s “Christmas All Over Again”. While she still works as an actress, she enjoys living in Orange County with her husband, Brendan Rooney, and daughters, Isabella and Sophia.

I am still saddened that Tara, the only cheerleader who liked Ron, never got a episode or was featured as a supportive character often or her crush shown later on and Ron remain oblivious until it was too late (Kim why didn't you tell him!😫). Also she was voiced by Tara Strong.
Lol I know right?? Kim probably didn't tell Ron because she didn't want them to date!
Look at Ron's reaction at the beginning of season 3, he literally doesn't care, he was just pretending to be a naive guy. He didn't have to "date" or "fall in love." Even in the episode with emotion control chips, Ron said that friendship is more important than a love relationship.

@@adrianrocha49 If you watch all the episodes of the series now, you will be able to understand that Ron did not need a love relationship. And he deliberately tried to avoid them. Neither with Tara, nor with Yori, nor with Zita, nor with Kim (in the episode "Emotion Control", Ron said that friendship is everything for him, and relationships can destroy this friendship). Even in "such a drama," Ron says he doesn't want to grow up, he wants everything to be the same as before.

I always liked that there was an episode right at the beginning where they took the time to establish that Ron might be a little doofy sometimes, but he's also very capable when he needs to be and absolutely an essential element to what makes so many of their missions successful.
Still the best Disney show we’ll ever get, would love to see a reaction to Go Team Go or Naked Genius, those are my favorite episodes

Honestly, having this episode as the second episode of the series was so smart. The writers established Kim's motivations, strengths, and interest in Josh Mankey in the first episode, and now we get a Ron centric episode. It shows why Ron is squeamish, how he can be brave, and establishes that he's not interested in Kim by having Tara be his love interest. For the rest of the series we know that Kim and Ron are a dynamic duo
Its not second episode. Try to watch in the right order, you will like the animated series even more

It would be interesting to do a Zoom call (or conference call) video with another voice actor from the show and "react" to an episode.
Why are the KP episodes always out of order? Like this episode features Ron as the Mad Dog which isn’t introduced until the Attack of the Killer Bebes which is episode 9. Then the episode where Kim faces Drakken and Shego for the first time is episode 4 (Tick-Tick-Tick). Like while I was rewatching the show over the past few days I noticed there is a lot of continuity and callbacks throughout the show so having it all out of order on Disney+ when you know people will be binge watching it feels lazy and could’ve easily been fixed.
I was look for this comment. I binged KP the moment I got Disney plus and got so confused when my favorite bad guys acted like they didn't know Kim when he remembered her just fine a couple episodes ago. It all kind of feels like they just threw them all together expecting the plot to be a loose thing that is episode restricted and not a series long device. It's pretty clear they haven't watched their own show in a long time
I would venture a guess that the production order might've been different to the aired order. I don't know for sure and I could be wrong about this but in my experience of cartoon watching this is usually what the case is
The Big Shot T.M.D yeah. And that’s fine when it’s being aired on tv and it’s going to be in a random order for reruns. But when putting it on a streaming service where people are expected to binge watch them in the order presented to them, they could’ve bothered to change the order to make sense.
They changed the order on all their other animated shows for no reason so why couldn’t they have messed with the KP episodes as well only instead of shuffling them about randomly, they actually fixed them.
That doesn't feel lazy; it is.
this is a common problem for many disney+ tv series.
Ducktales episode 1 is placed as episode 4 and vice versa.
theirs also like 4 seasons and only 2 are available on disney+.
It's a common complaint.
They also missed a lot of tv series and movies completely.
"Sink or Swim" is formally Episode #8. If you go to the video where Christy reacts to the episode "Crush," you'll find the comment I posted that shows all Season 1 episodes in their chronological order.
My favorite episode have always been the ones where Ron steps up to the plate.
Tara and Ron would've been super cute together, but I always shipped him and Kim. Just rewatched this episode the other day on Disney Plus. It's always been one of my favorites.
I loved that episode two was a "Ron saves the day" episode. It ahows early on that though Ron is Kim's sidekick, he's not useless. And then lets the story and characters play with that as time goes on.
Great episode. Loving Disney+ watching shows I used to watch back then.

I so wish there was another season! Cause at the end of the Graduation Season finale it seemed to imply that Drakken and Shego were turning good in some way and also that they liked each other and I just think that would of been such an interesting storyline and dynamic!

Mine’s Shego (as you can see by my profile pic), I didn’t really appreciate her as a little kid, but now that i’m older, I have gained a fondness for her ridiculously clever remarks and goth girl looks, she’s one of the best cartoon villains of our time

honestly that's one of my favorite episodes! coz ron steps up so good! like I love kim for sure, but ron is soo goofy, that when he actually saves the day it's amazing! I love what they done in this episode.

What I do know is that he was in 'The Emperor's New Groove' as the role of Kronk (that film's having it's 20th anniversary this December 15th). He was also the second role of Buzz Lightyear in the 'Buzz Lightyear of Star Command' TV series.

This was my favorite episode..I'll always remember it.
The way the episode is horror movie-esque, and there's that one place, Cabin 13, it's like were dealing with stuff relating to Friday the 13th. The last one we had lately was two months ago on March 13.
13 is also a taboo number. Hotels will sometimes skip the 13th floor, playing to superstitions. Ron was in an unlucky cabin that left him separated (skipped over) by the rest of the camp.
I see. Weird how that works out, though.
I remembered these aired out of order, like there is an episode that takes place before this and it is about Ron joining the cheerleading team

Great video. My husband and I have been rewatching Kim Possible on Disney+ since we didn't watch the show fully as kids. We're on season 3 and have really been enjoying it. I really like Shego and Drakken. My husband really likes monkey fist though he is upset that the voice actor voiced a bunch of monkey characters but didn't voice mojo Jojo. I loved watching Kim Possible when I was a little girl. It was one of my favorite tv shows. I can’t decide which episode was my favorite. I didn’t pay attention to the names of the episodes, just the plots.
Even I love the animation done here, when it come to the movements and looks.
This episode was actually produced after the episode with the Bebes. Because Ron first became the Mad Dog mascot in that episode.
Definitely want to see you react to Emotion Sickness if you haven’t already. That episode solidified the K/R ship for most everyone.

Perfect timing- just happened to watch KP yesterday, this episode included. I grew up with this show and have always loved it, but I find it hilarious as an adult. Reached the episode with agent Will Du and I cannot say that out loud with a straight face, and it definitely went over my head as a kid.
I am suspected to believe that Ron has PTSD thanks to this camp.

Hey Christy I just wanted to say I'm so glad you have this channel! It's so great to see a friendly face from the good old days of Disney still bringing us awesome content! My sister and I grew up watching those shows. You actually remind me quite a bit of her. She also loves cooking and Kim Possible and so do I. Also if I remember correctly you got to be a cheerleader in an episode of Even Stevens too.
I could be wrong, but I regard Kim Possible as the young adult version of the British TV show The Avengers, with Kim Possible as an up-to-date Emma Peel.
Kept meaning to ask at the Kim Possible convention I helped organize, but never had a chance.
I'm not sure how much inspiration you drew from other places, or just played straight - sort of thing we'll maybe learn if you do a Q&A video some time, although I suspect the answer is that you're just too busy and wouldn't see the point in older TV, which is fair enough.
Still, the similarities mean the show will remain popular for a long time, with an audience far wider than Disney anticipated, and both you and your character are a very big part of that.
