I’ve been watching your videos for a while. I think you are doing great work. This one really got to me. There’s a small child living there. In the dirt and roaches and spiders and grime. So very sad. I get there is depression which is quite sad, but it’s impacting a little child. Just stunned.
It touches my heart how you clean the places that need such deep, difficult, upsetting work. It takes a strong, compassionate person to do that, and I think it’s beautiful.

This person lives in the slums. I feel very bad for them. The baby kitty was happy to have someone new to play with. I can’t believe a child lives there. How upsetting. 😢

I 'm sure, you people still don't understand a thing... too focused on your own perfect belly... well, when the landlord rents something they often don't care about space, about furnitures... i'm pretty sure the couch is not the mother's. You can see the kitchen, there's no good furniture and no enough for organising. Shame on the landlord who rent an appart with broken tiles. How somebody can feel good at home with this conditions at first ?! And after life can be hard SO the place where you're living doesn't help to care about you and about the home. I'm sorry, if you know your house is basically a shithole and your living conditions are bad enough that your child has to live in it, why the hell would you then go and bring a pet in that will also need cleaning up after? It makes absolutely no sense to me at all. This is why with some of these people, not all, but definitely some, I have huge doubts about their excuses.

I live in the sub-tropics and cockroaches are outside and will find their way in under doors. I buy cockroach baits which are housed in plastic to protect pets- there’s usually 12 in a box, I put all 12 out at once and replace twice a year. I rarely see cockroaches inside but you have to be scrupulous in not leaving any food around at all, no open packets, no scraps on sink, it all has to go in the outside bin every night.

In a lot of cases, the furniture wouldn't stay new for long anyway the way the houses are trashed up so quickly. Sad, but true in a lot of cases. That's not being mean, it's just being honest. I know there are some folks who would try to keep it clean afterwards, but not a lot of them I imagine.

This is the saddest one I’ve watched. How can anyone be happy living in such a place, even clean? The bugs would drive me mad. All the tiles coming off the floor. Not even a blanket?? I hope you came back with sheets and blankets…you can get them from charities. If you can’t do it, maybe you could call churches and charities to see if they would help these people. That filthy couch should be thrown out and replaced with 2 single beds, and a small table and chairs. In my city, there’s a free furniture store run by a church that also delivers the furniture for those with true need. So many people donate their gently used furniture and appliances to the store.

First she needs to get better. She has to be able to start to clean her apartment. Needs to throw out most of the things. Deep cleaning and than some furniture. The cockroaches infection is so bad! And other apartments has a same problem….. Even if pest control comes out, they will come back from other apartments. They should to move from here :(
Being a social worker for 25 years, the deplorable living conditions in that home would definitely be a child abuse report of general neglect - failure to protect. Thank you for cleaning that home and helping the family.
Why don’t social workers help by arranging cleaners, etc, for parents who are struggling, instead of labeling them and traumatizing them with threats of taking their children?
@@lisaa3978 Because SWs have dozens of clients and work for low wages. They are lucky to have 5 minutes a week to think about a client. They aren't heartless. They are overworked, underpaid and the entire system is underfunded.

Someone may have already suggested this and sorry if its a repeat, but I do know that if the homeowner could look up FREE STUFF on Craigslist she could find all sorts of furniture and such for nothing. Only issue most folks may have is transporting it, especially if its a bulky item like a couch. This family needs a futon or something like that. Anyways keep up the wonderful job you do. Omg that is awful! Putting her kid's through that. I have had severe depression and anxiety for over 20 plus year's my house does not look like this. Those walls need a good scrubbing. If it took me all day long I would clean it as if it were my own. Sure you did the best you could. All the boxed food you know that the roaches have been in it throw it away. Those kids are eating that mess it can make them very very sick.
You are SO brave to clean such a place. I like to clean too but if someone with cockroaches would ask me to clean their house, I'd give a solid no. It's too dangerous, by risking to take some roaches back home. You are so so so brave! 💪
Yes. The adult roaches run away, but their eggs can stick on the shoe soles and you can carry them everywhere. I recommend wearing these blue plastic over-shoes like CSI while cleaning that kind of places and throw them away. Or wear plastic clogs and wash them with bleach and hot water.
Unfortunately i had no time to clean the whole house yet :( only the bedroom and the bathroom left. I told her what to use and how…. But I think she won’t change:(

Omg that is awful! Putting her kid's through that. I have had severe depression and anxiety for over 20 plus year's my house does not look like this. Those walls need a good scrubbing. If it took me all day long I would clean it as if it were my own. Sure you did the best you could. All the boxed food you know that the roaches have been in it throw it away. Those kids are eating that mess it can make them very very sick.
The couch and stove need to be thrown in the trash.
Be careful that you don't bring any of those critters home with you.
Use oven cleaner on hard kitchen & bathroom stains it saves time scrubbing xxxx

You are SO brave to clean such a place. I like to clean too but if someone with cockroaches would ask me to clean their house, I'd give a solid no. It's too dangerous, by risking to take some roaches back home. You are so so so brave! 💪

Yes. The adult roaches run away, but their eggs can stick on the shoe soles and you can carry them everywhere. I recommend wearing these blue plastic over-shoes like CSI while cleaning that kind of places and throw them away. Or wear plastic clogs and wash them with bleach and hot water.

If they could keep the crumbs, dishes soaked, food, garbage and put food in ziplock bags, roaches would not have anything to eat. I don't know if they would all go to another unit or not...
