A budget acoustic guitar doesn't have to be a bad guitar. This one, the LSPFXNT from Artist Guitars, definitely supports my theory. We've got a good quality laminated spruce and sapelle body with an okoumen/eco rosewood neck and an ingenious little Guitto preamp that sports reverb, delay and chorus as well as a speaker that's mounted inside the guitar for a more ambient playing experience. What's not to love?

My daughter got me this guitar last Christmas. It was one of the best presents I've ever received.
It is obviously special because she got it for me, but the guitar itself is very good quality and the effects really do work well. The rechargeable battery lasts a long time. Highly recommended from me.

another quality demo / review, thank you very much. Any chance you can PLEASE do a video on the Artist JMH200IR SOLID TOP ACOUSTIC-ELECTRIC W/ IMPULSE RESPONSE guitar. On paper I really have to get one but as I cant just pop into a local shop to try one out my next best bet is one of your quality and trusted reviews

It's amazing to me how quickly the new technologies are making their way to instruments of all price points. This guitar sounds pretty good for an entry level instrument. I really like the new digs, too... quite a step up from the claustrophobic room you had previously. Cheers from Montreal.
What wasn't mentioned is that the AUD$199 on sale price is for the next 9 days only (from date of this post) then back to AUD$269 regular price.
Seems they've stepped the game a fair ways as I didn't think much of the lower end acoustic stuff (just sounded too boomy for me). This actually sounds quite usable though. I've got a few of their $300+ acoustics and they sound quite alright for the price. This might be another to check out.

Sounds a bit tinny. However at that price (or even slightly more as one commenter has suggested) it really shouldn't sound or play anywhere near as well as it clearly does.
