Thanks for sharing this video. I periodically come back to SC to see what's new and ran across your video while considering upgrading to the nomad from the titan. Looked great on my ultrawide monitor as well!
You are most welcome to the star citizen family. You should try the salvage game loop. It has a rich payout once you get into it. I started it with a nomad. I use the tractor beam to transfer cargo for the small and medium freighter till I moved up to something bigger.
it's a bit late commenting a year ago but I just don't get why people focus exclusively on Hadanite. MOST of the time mining is just finding some rocks to bust. If you know what you're doing and are pretty quick you can set laser to 100% and bust two rocks at once jumping between em. So the biggest thing is just... snagging any rocks you find, and the inventory limit of the ROC doesn't matter because you have your ship cargo that you can store the gems in. You can also buy shipping crates from some freight stores, these are really great for hand mining and make up for limited backpack space and in a pinch can act as backup for the ROC including ferrying the cargo from a downed machine.
I was thinking about buying it, but do you have to pick up the ROC after you retrieve your ship every time? I was hoping when I retrieved my nomad that it too would be retrieved (and hopefully stowed in the back). If that's the case, no way. I spent 3 hours yesterday just trying to get my ship (server was bugged). I was told you can't sleep/log in your ship anymore, and every time I've logged out I've been back in the hospital bed, though I've not tried laying down in the bed first but even RSI says don't log out in your ship due to another issue where you get the Code:30018, which I only know too well from having had that in only my second attempt to log in. So far I've spent 8 hours in SC, but over 4 in just dealing with 30018 and my ship not being retrievable. Anywho, rant aside, it's just the one question on if you have to pick up the ROC every time rather than it being retrieved with your ship. Thanks!
You can transfer the gems from the ROC inventory to your ship inventory and so carry a lot more that way. If you have a backpack you can put some in it as well/ Just not as many of course. In your backpack is safe from a 30K. In your ship[ inventory is MOSTLY safe from a 30K. In the ROC is not protected.
love this game!!! Hyped for the future big space battles

If the gemstones don't scan...shoot them with your ships repeaters, then scan.

If you leave the roc on your ship when you store it it'll be there when you retrieve it

Thank you!
So the Roc doesn't fall out the back of the Nomad when putting up the ramp?
when the nomad cargo is put up whatver is back there will not move
@@GreenTeaXIII Yeah thanks & i've already found that one out myself. :)
How do you sell ore once youve mined it? Terminals in refinery dont recognize any storage locations for me
how do you get your helmet to look like that in first person?
I think it may be because I’m on an ultra wide
I think they removed the immersive view in the new update :(@@TOMMYBOY601
Where do you sell the gems that you collected?
What do you do with the gems after you’re full on the roc
