Atleast now the board will wake up and bring in proper players instead of cheap below average players and washed players. The board's complacency and Pep's obsession of having a small squad are causing this.
Really well said, Jonny, this is hard to identify and therefore hard to fix using that paradigm. We are needing a transformation and analysis of problems will leave us playing the previous game, not the one we are facing. Pep is incredible, but up until this moment he has not been dogmatic. An addiction to positive football, is still an addiction and will affect our judgement, our eyes and ears. Theories need to be tested by reality, empiricism (the Enlightenment) matters more than ever. Unfortunately, you are right about Liverpool, I fear them so much.
We have to face up to the facts that for the past couple of years although we have achieved great things we have been getting away with it on many occasions in the pitch and it was inevitable that at some point we would come to an end. Not bringing in quality understudies to our key players is biting us on the arse big time as we are relying on players who should only be playing 30 mins max a game and playing too many players carrying injuries or back to fitness.
Can’t bring in key understudy’s because look at what happened to Alvarez, peps man management stinks and sticks to his favorite players and won’t give understudy’s a chance and no one wants to come and sit the bench for Rodri year after year no one wants to come and sit the bench for kdb year after year look at what he did to Palmer and now macatee
@@Hairyman13 Exactly, Pep has good man management for the people he prefers, but he has trash overall team management. Bernardo should not be a starter now, I don't care what anyone says.
this is what we need. If we winged it this season they wouldnt do the rebuild properly. id rather us not win anything if it helps us spend in summer and offload the deadwood
My prediction is if Garvidol is playing we might get 6 against us. He’s not the only one but he has been instrumental in giving 4 goals out of the last 7 scored against us. His confidence is shot. I know that Pep will play him on Sunday out of loyalty and thinking he is helping him to get through a bad patch, he needs resting. Ake left back on Sunday with Dias, akanji and walker. with Dias being on the bench he must be fit to play. Silva also needs resting, he was treading water throughout the game and has been ineffective for a while.
I agree with Ake, Dias and Akanji but no definitely not Walker. He is a disaster just like Gvardial, all the goals are mainly happening because of these two. Rico Lewis should play as the right back. The midfield KDB Nunes Gündogan. I think thats the best line up to not concede too much goals + creating some chances for City.
The squad is psychologically weak atm and it's affecting Pep as well. If mentally you're not confident it doesn't matter how fit or how skilful you are, you will crumble especially when pressured. It's more of a psychological crisis.
Pep's got to hold his hands up, he took Gundo and Ake off at 3-0 when he knows our defence is like a sieve, putting two attacking midfielders on. That's asking for it. I thought Feyenoord's second goal was offside, not from the original through ball, but when the cross came to the back post it looked like the attacker headed it on to his teammate who was virtually on the goal line. I've only seen it once in real time as TV and, it seems, VAR was only looking at the original pass. Has anyone seen this again? Best game Gundo has played since his return in my opinion.
Honestly i feel like we might get slaughtered at Anfield if we don’t play with caution. We can’t park the bus, but at the same time, we are going to get exposed if we commit ourselves. We need to make a plan for rebuilding the squad, especially in midfield. 😂😂😂 Losing sleep is crazy mate, calm down and laugh off the pain. We will be back.
Put Fernandinho, David Silva and KDB in midfield and we win all of the last six. A midfield that plays runs and fights like under 15s and schoolgirls is killing us.
These players are letting pep down. playing like division 1 players. how can top professional players earning huge sum of salaries and playing such mediocre football. I don’t get it. Football is a serious business sport, we are not here for excuses. These lads need to lift up their game or else they should retire and go and stay home. They playing with our hearts. How can you concede such goals at last minutes. This is unacceptable.
It’s interesting to note that the 115 case may be slowly heading to a conclusion. I’m sure management and players know a little than the casual fan. I wonder how much this is affecting performance. Perhaps we may be deducted points , so what’s the point in trying ?
Great assessment!!, Gvaldi is missing Kova his countryman. A little trepidation in his play, creating mistakes. No one at the the wheel on the pitch. Big question - Can Pep turn water into Wine?🤞
Honestly I do feel this can change, but drastic measures need to be taken. I agree this arrogance is hanging over the club. I feel one major thing due too the arrogance is the complexity of the players positions. We are asking too much of the players and need to dial it back. Let Rico be able to focus more on defending, he isn’t even a rb, so he needs to grow defensively. Same applies to Gvardiol. We need to believe in the quality of our attackers to create. I feel simplifying the game gives the players less chances to make decisions. Also pep needs to be more ruthless in benchings, but who can even play rn😭? I believe this team will push to the end
Am not here to add fuel to fire . But I would say this , Even in 1st half we lost the ball easily in middle . If we were against a better team we would have been punished . It’s not about this game . Since we lost Rodri to injury we not the same team , with Rodri we rarely lose the ball in middle but now with whoever is playing we lose a lot . Not to point fingers at any player here . To play at this level u need to be super talented who am I to judge But I blame our summer window . Every season we did statements that we are going for all trophies by buying players (player to improve us or maintain the level ). Yes no one saw all these many injuries but we didn’t replace players who left and on top of that , previous seasons our bench were rubbing their hands for any main 11 to drop in form ( bench players were better than now ) . With all this being said am positive ,it will solved by next summer window and for now we need to perform well and learn from this season . WE WILL BE THERE ❤
Several points here: 1. We do need new signings to help cover CDM, and AM; however, these are not short term signings these are long term signings as we can't fall into this trap of "1 man team" because Rodri is out, and we do have an aging squad. Following on from this, we need to get the Academy to help foster new talent in these areas. 2. Anyone who says Pep out without it being clearly tongue in cheek needs a slap, Pep is not the problem. However, Pep could do with trying to help some of the players become more pitch leaders, as there doesn't seem to be a wealth of players in that mould right now. I would also suggest (hark at me trying to tell Pep how to do his job), that we just maybe do a bit of route 1 football for a little while until players come back, it's not pretty but it's effective. 3. The issue is injuries but it's also psychological. To clarify this, we do have a lot of injuries at the moment and they are big players, the players who are fit can do the job, but they're not doing it, and it's not consciously their fault, it is however sub-consciously their fault, and a fault of how we are as a club. City play as a team, and if you had a team like Real Madrid having this many injuries they wouldn't have this issue, as they are group of individuals, not a team, that's just the way RM are. Because City are a team, our players have a team mentality built-in, the players are not playing to their full potential as they know they are short staffed so if they go all out, they could run the risk of injury and they know that it would feel like that they're letting the team down and make things worse. It's just one of the downsides of playing the team mentality football, as opposed to mercenary football.
I hope pep is fine mentally and health wise. The rumors are not great. I would be disappointed to lose him, but if he's not okay he should take a time out and deal with it
I see us controlling the game when in possession. The problem is loosing possession on this Liverpool side, Disaster 😢. Am okay with us just loosing 3 nil
I feel like if the boys get confidence for the next match the anger that you need we are the side that have done things that no other clubs will ever manage to we're gonna win against Liverpool 4-3
Real Madrid lost to Liverpool , so it is not only City that are dropping points. However I feel for City at Anfield, because Liverpool are playing very well and is full of confidence at the moment. The only chance is take Lewis off and put in both Savinho and Nunes together and bring back Dias , Akanji , Stones in defence
If rodri had stayed fit and we go and win another league Txiki and pep dont spend in jan and summer so this collapse is actually good news really. Big picture m,atters more than squeezing the orange for a drip of juice.. We need 5 or 6 new players and to offload about 5 or 6.. We need a 6, an 8, a cover striker and two defenders/fullbacks.. im actually excited! We need to also remember these legends and not pile on like rival fans have done. Lets be different!
Completely agree, but this time we should not just get players who may fit the system like Savinho. We need individual match winners who can actually score. As players like Silva & Foden are not performing, we can’t get goals from any other players. Doku, Savinho & Grealish needs to start scoring. Nunes have been really good & should continue in team. Without him we lost badly to Spurs. Let’s get some experienced players who can make a difference in assists & goals.
City's level has been unreal, consistently for 7 years. Feel like they should have had more than the 1 CL title given their ridiculously high levels of play over that time.

Too much panic with fans. I think it's good thing we have a slump. We will rebuild and be stronger. No big deal.
I actually think this is a good thing for the fans because people would laugh if you guy's say you will support the club through bad times so now its time to see
@@Codetrey I agree, we have a lot of fans who take winning for granted. I went for decays supporting the club with no trophies in the case. Being a fan isn't about winning.
Cardinal sin selling alvarez, or at least not replacing him 😢
And not signing a backup to Rodri
@@adrianbennett3761yeah defo or kev either 🤔 should we kept palmer m8 ?
@Out of choice I’d have kept Alvarez Laporte and Delap. Not signing a backup to Rodri was madness
@@adrianbennett3761delap looked better than others we kept ! Laporte was always reliable 4 me 😮
ake said(paraphrasing) "we needed to push up and be aggressive after conceding 1 and the reason they scored 3 was that we dropped back"
and you're suggesting the complete opposite
They did NOT drop back. THEY LITERALLY SAT ON THE HALFWAY LINE
@heartthrobbb yeah, I'm just mentioning what ake said, he was on the pitch and then on the bench watching 🤷♂️
Definitely need top 4 so that we can attract top players next summer. No one could have guests the substitutions would cause us to implode
Have a crap season im ok with it. Looking forward to the rebuild
Why da hell would you rebuild with a massive court case on us right now ? It's like buying a Ferrari when you're in debt. Use your brain lol
O’REILY should be starting with Gundogan and Debruyne and Rico
I agree with Ake, Dias and Akanji but no definitely not Walker. He is a disaster just like Gvardial, all the goals are mainly happening because of these two. Rico Lewis should play as the right back. The midfield KDB Nunes Gündogan. I think thats the best line up to not concede too much goals + creating some chances for City.
The squad is psychologically weak atm and it's affecting Pep as well. If mentally you're not confident it doesn't matter how fit or how skilful you are, you will crumble especially when pressured. It's more of a psychological crisis.
Someone throw that Community Shield plate away, Please!
Let us just brace for a loss; the implosion cannot be stopped so let it happen.
Park a triple decker bus like Assna would.
Good will come of this. An overhaul is crucial. We must all keep the faith. Who else would you want to support? COME ON CITY! BLUEMOON PHIL
BLUEMOON PHIL
@cornish-ballmappe Yes?
Bore of phil its over😮😮
@petewhite9135 Your reply doesn't make sense.
@petewhite9135 If you haven't got anything interesting to say except to be rude then don't bother. BLUEMOON PHIL
Shocking underperformance and clown like defending!
Those substitutions ruined the midfield
We played well until the final minutes... we can definitely score... if you look at our game vs Brighton in the last few minutes we sort of crumble
Honestly i feel like we might get slaughtered at Anfield if we don’t play with caution.
We can’t park the bus, but at the same time, we are going to get exposed if we commit ourselves.
We need to make a plan for rebuilding the squad, especially in midfield.
😂😂😂
Losing sleep is crazy mate, calm down and laugh off the pain. We will be back.
They've got to work on their defense!! That's the biggest problem.
Pep will throw in the towel if they keep this up. Using injuries as an excuse to justify crap performances is unacceptable.
let's adopt the Mikel dark arts then!
I believe we gonna bounce back common city
👏👏👏 Very well said and summarized...would take a draw against Liverpool 😅.
So painful
Ok lads. Why diden't Pep when we was 3-0 up defend and drop back to 4 - 5 - 1. That would of sealed the 3 points
It was a big mistake. We are not doing basics & not learning from our mistakes
Big question - Can Pep turn water into Wine?🤞
yesterday i was really disapointed
Silly mistakes are costing us
Lpool has a lot of good players on the bench. Reason why they win most games from the bench.
WE WILL BE THERE ❤
Well said sir
This too shall pass, Blues we need to all as a family to Support Pep &the Boys ❤.......
Several points here:
I would be disappointed to lose him, but if he's not okay he should take a time out and deal with it
gvardiol was one of our best players up until he made that mistake. for 70 mins he was mint. but somehow everyone's completely forgotten about that.
I see us controlling the game when in possession. The problem is loosing possession on this Liverpool side, Disaster 😢. Am okay with us just loosing 3 nil
I hope man city will make a comeback
We need a rebuild mate, Yes we have injuries to key players Rodri being our most important but we should still be able to get results
Pep needs to focus on growing young talent this season because all our international senior players are fatigued
Take heart....Liverpool are the next club to go into decline. Take out Sallah and whoops.
We need Ibrahim Maza he is just 18
the scary thing about this is we seem to have fallen of a cliff and none of us or pep no why we just have to stick with it come out the other end
Don’t panic ….. we still second and in all tournaments that matter…… a bad run was inevitable …… need a refresh but will come good
I still believe in 5 in a row
yes you are and I'm here, front row seat with popcorn in hand enjoying myself. picture the Michael Jackson popcorn meme. That's me right now
City needs shot stopper in goal atm until they improve defense
I feel like if the boys get confidence for the next match the anger that you need we are the side that have done things that no other clubs will ever manage to we're gonna win against Liverpool 4-3
That aside. Great channel 👍
City has turned into PRIME arsenal !
Get your win first before starting to think about Liverpool. This is clearly also a confidence issue.
At this point in time is all about damage limitation against Liverpool on Sunday 😒😒
Man, when is it going to end? My soul hurts.
So this means Walker will be starting against Liverpool since City conceded 3 goals without him playing.
City's level has been unreal, consistently for 7 years. Feel like they should have had more than the 1 CL title given their ridiculously high levels of play over that time.
Thank you aggorance of him..
The midfield is where everything has changed. How do you give up 3 in the last 15? Looks like Everton last year
115 is taking a toll on the players, that’s human nature. Imagine the thought of of being stripped 6 titles
Injuries to the 1st team players is costing us big time. Non can do what Rodri & KDB us.
Sup johny bro ya bang on it with what you say, can’t have a go at the sub’s these players need time to get there fitness up to standard &we do need to be looking towards next season &if you stupid so am I,still believe we can do something but we desperately need Dias back there&Ake to stay fit to solid it up,lucky we’re still in with a fighting chane so it’s time to totally turn up,bang on it nunes has to start &if kova can be fit him to &let’s start letting Haaland just run at teams&rest be more defensively, whoever is the ones not backing pep are not thinking,if any 1 man can turn it around it will be him,as for yesterday Gvardiol we’ll messed up&even eddy way to far out of the box, simple mistakes can be rectified, anoying that every goal we give away is a breakaway surely pep should just change his philosophy til we get our players back then go again, sooner the better,as always bro class&we stick together 👍
1. Stop blaming Pep, he's a legend, the only one who'll fix it.
2. Give rest to Bernardo and Guardiol.
3. Bring Dias, Ake, Akanji, Walker (no choice)
4. Keep Foden central.
5. Doku, Nunes, Savenio Grealish alternately at wings.
6. Bring Ortega for change.
7. Most importantly, Chill things will get better, believe in yourself.
The reason the kids haven't gotten more playing time is because our form isn't good ....they are not to blame
Pep, who's been a little bit tardy at substitutions, last night did it far too soon.
We need to improve defensively bro
This is like the scene in Super
In disasters we don't act like our Neighbours; with this intake, we will bounce back in style. don't leave traces of weakness in your support! Stay strong brothers
