Brent I was just at Horny Pond May 28th and 29th. I didn't know that they were pulling water out of the lake for hurricane season. The lake is down five feet and the fish are gone. If anyone is reading this and plan to go bluegill fishing, at Lake Okeechobee I would not go. I drove 9hrs to be disappointed. In the future will DNR tell me if water is being pulled out of the lake if I call? Thanks for listening.

Yeah, that's just the way it is out there. Once someone sees you bailing fish in one spot, you can guarantee that it's going to be fished out before you get back there. We fished that spot hard, because there wasn't much biting anymore before we left. There's a million more beds out on that lake, that was just the first we found, so that guy can have the leftovers lol
