I shouldn't be laughing this hard, but the fact he sounds like a mini you, right down to your sarcasm, I cannot stop laughing. "Like Father like Son" has never been a truer statement.
Few Fun Facts about this video: 1. I went with Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu for a few reasons. The main one was that I couldn't get the older games to record correctly. The second reason was after watching footage of this and the older ones, this version made more sense cinematically for the "What if Talked" series. I was actually SOLD on using Let's Go Pikachu for this video when I first tried to catch a Pokemon and missed several times, which I found hilarious. 2. I brought in a bunch of people to voice out characters in this video, as NO ONE talks. It seemed weird to have the trainer reacting to only subtitles. Luckily the game provided me a script for all those characters via their subtitles. Big thanks to everyone who helped out with voicing a character! 3. My son has been wanting to voice in a video for years now. And he had a TON of fun voicing this, though he was super nervous. That said, for a first time actor, I think this came out GREAT. If you got a problem with it, take it elsewhere :-) 4. I'm not super familiar with the Pokemon series past the first few games, as those came out when I was in middle school. I was under the impression that Let's Go Pikachu was a full on remake of Pokemon Yellow. It isn't actually. It's more of a sequel. I didn't know this starting out though, so I originally named the main character Red and his rival Blue. BUT they are different characters. Once I realized this, I had to go back and replay this whole section of the game to make sure I had the correct names. Something you'll notice is that Pikachu changes genders sometimes in the video. This is because in one playthrough Pikachu was female and in the other it was male, and I used footage from both playthroughs. 5. Remember, these videos are SCRIPTED. Gameplay is recorded first, a script is written, and then it is voiced in a vocal booth, and then it's all edited together. So everything my son said in here was approved by not only myself, but his mother, grandparents, etc. We passed this by a LOT of people.
You're son was great, I was a bit unsure when you started the video post sponsor and said he would be voicing the character for this video, but he was hilarious, and did a really anazing job :-)

This was absolutely amazing. If this turns into a series, it'll definitely get massive attention, and easily become even better. It was hilarious, yet realistic which made it even the more better. Keep up this amazing work, and to all the voice actors, from one to another, very well done. Continue practising, and you may end up with a career in voice overs or voice acting making a ton of money. The kid voicing the main character is definitely going places, amazing work kiddo, and make sure to continue this path. Best of luck for the future!
